Uluslar arası düzeyde standartları ve normları olan muhasebe sistemi de uygulanmaya başladığı her yeni ülkede yada toplumda birtakım algılama ve anlamlandırma süzgeçlerinden geçmektedir. Bu süzgeçlerin en başında geleni kültürdür. Günümüzde muhasebenin ana hatları uluslararası düzeyde çizilmektedir. Böyle olunca muhasebe sistem ve uygulamalarının da, toplumdan topluma farklılıklara büründüğü gözlemlenmektedir. Bu çalışmada Sakarya ilinde bağımlı çalışan muhasebe meslek mensuplarının muhasebe değerleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tespit işlemi için düzenlenen ankette 7 noktalı likert ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Anket iki kısımdan oluşmakta olup, birinci kısım 13 soruluk mevcut durum anketi, ikinci kısım ise 17 soruluk ideal durum anketi olarak adlandırılmıştır. Hazırlanan anket Sakarya ilinde bağımlı çalışan 107 meslek mensubuna uygulanmıştır. Anketin güvenilirliği Cronbach alfa katsayısı kullanılarak ölçülmüş ve böyle bir çalışma için geçerli kabul edilebilecek bir değer olan 0,568 değerine ulaşılmıştır. KMO değeri 0,657'dir. Sonuç olarak; Sakarya ilinde bağımlı çalışan muhasebe meslek mensuplarının muhasebe değerleri; tutuculuktan iyimserliğe doğru yönelmiş, tekdüzelik sınırlarını aşmış, gizliliğe taraftar olmamakla beraber korunması gerektiğine inanan ve bireyselliğe açık ve profesyonelliği isteyen ve de destekleyen bir yapıdadır. Sonuçların böyle çıkması; değişen dünya şartları ile beraber muhasebe meslek mensuplarının da değişim ve gelişime olduklarını göstermektedir. Teknik ve teknolojik alandaki yenilikler, mesleğe yeni girenlerin eğitim seviyelerin yüksek olması, mesleki tecrübe birikiminin belirli bir seviyeye ulaşmışlığı ve ticaretin uluslar arası niteliğe bürünmesi bu sonuçların çıkmasmdaki başlıca etkenlerdir. Therefore the accounting systems which has international standarts and norms has gone through some perceptive and construtive filtration within the countries it has been applied.The main item within this filtration i,s culture.Today the main limits of accounting are determined by international standarts,because of this accounting systems and applications differ from nation to nation. In this study,the accounting values of the employees within the accounting profession in Sakarya are trying to be identified.In this identification process a survey has been passed. In this survey,7 point scale was used.The survey consists of 2 different parts first part is a questionnaire that has 13 questions based on 'current status' and second part is another questionnaire that has 7 questions which is named as 'ideal status survey'.This survey has been applied to 107 people that is employed in this specific process. The validity of this survey is tested by using Cronbach alpha coeffcient and for this study a value of 0,568 was reached which is accepted as a valid value.KMO value for this survey is 0,657, As a result,the accounting values for the people that is employed in the city of Sakarya has changed from conservative to optimist,limits of monotenous values was passed,the overall structure is not close to secrecy but needs to be preserved together.This structure is open to individualism and supportive of professinalism. The results show that,change and developmet in the global world is parallel to change in the profession of accounting. Main causes of this change can be listed as followsxhanges in technics and technology increasing education level of the people that are newly employed in this area,raising experience level in the profession and national trade standarts that are similar with the global trade standarts.
