dc.description.abstract In this paper, we report on the semileptonic transitions of B-s -> D-s2 (2900)l (v) over bar (l), where l = e, mu, or tau with J(P) = 2(-) by using the QCD sum rules within the standard model (SM). These channels which defined by the low energy Hamiltonian are calculated based on the transition form factors entering the hadronic matrix element. The form factors are obtained by using suitable fit functions that are then utilized to evaluate the total decay widths (TDW) and branching ratios of B-s -> D(s2)e (v) over bar (e) = 1.112 x 10(-3), B-s -> D-s2 mu(v) over bar (mu) = 1.093 x 10(-3) and B-s -> D-s2 tau(v) over bar (tau) = 7.412 x 10(-6). The present results are consistent with the predications of the standard model as well as with the results of several studies on different channels. Therefore, such studied transition is promising to be achieved in the near future at LHCb experiment in CERN. (C) 2022 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
