2000-2017 Döneminde Yemen Cumhuriyetin'de küçük ve orta ölçekteki işletmelerin kalkınmaya etkileri = The impact of small and medium-sized enterprises (smes) on the development in the republic of yemen during the period 2000-2017

Abstract

Bu doktora tezi, 2000-2017 döneminde Yemen Cumhuriyeti'ndeki küçük ve orta ölçekteki işletmelerin kalkınma üzerindeki etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Ayrıca, küçük ve orta ölçekteki işletmelerin sanayi sektörü ve bir bütün olarak ekonomi düzeyindeki rolü ve önemi, seçilen verilerin tanımlayıcı ve istatistiksel analizi kullanılarak açıklanmıştır. Kalkınmanın en önemli göstergelerindeki gelişmeler ekonomik, sosyal, çevresel ve kurumsal boyutlarıyla sunulmuştur. Bunun yanı sıra küçük ve orta ölçekteki işletmelerin en önemli gelişmelerinin, roller ve istihdama, hasılaya ve katma değere katkı yüzdeleri gözden geçirilmiştir. çalışmanın sonuçlarını elde etmek için nicel veriler, SmartPLS 3 istatistik programı kullanılarak (2000-2017) dönemini kapsayan bir zaman serisi için kısmi en küçük kareler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi kullanılarak modern ve nicel bir şekilde analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, Yemen'deki kalkınma göstergelerindeki düşüşe rağmen, küçük ve orta ölçekteki işletmelerin, çalışma döneminde Yemen'deki kalkınmanın çeşitli boyutları üzerinde olumlu bir etkiye sahip olduklarını, ancak istenilen seviyenin altında olduklarını göstermiştir.

This study aimed to examine the impact of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMES) on the development in the Republic of Yemen during the period 2000-2017. Moreover, this study determined the role and importance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the industrial sector and the economy as a whole. Statistical descriptive analysis of target data was using for determination the role and importance of SMES in Yemen. In the literature review, the study presented the enhancements of the most vital indicators of development were offered with their economic, social, environmental and institutional dimensions. In addition, the historical review about the roles and contribution percentages of the most important developments of SME in employment, output and added value were reviewed. For getting the findings of study, quantitative method was applied for data analysis. Partial least square modeling (PLS-SEM) by using Smart PLS e 3 software was running for analyzing the data and obtaining the target findings for the period (2000 – 2017) about Yemen. According to the finding of this study, there is decreasing in development indicators in Yemen. Additionally, SMES has positive influence on the development dimensions in Yemen. Therefore, the influence of SME on Developing indicators still less than target standard in Yemen and has to be better then ever before.
