TÜRKÇE ÖZET îediüzzaman'm İşârâtü'l-İ'câz adlı tefsirinin en ayırıcı özelliği, tefsirini yazdığı ortamın çok farklı olmasıdır. Savaş şartlarında ve yanında hiçbir ıcaynak olmadan ağır şartlar altında bu eserini yazmış ve tamamını bitirmesi nasip olmamıştır. Tefsirine başlamadan nasıl bir Kur'ân tefsiri yazılması gerektiğini izah eder. Bu zamanda ilmi, kabiliyeti sınırlı olan bir ferdin değil, daha az hata yapması muhtemel olan, umumun kabulüne daha çok mazhar olabilecek bir heyetin Kur'ân'a tefsir yazması gerektiği üzerinde durur. Bu tefsiriyle öyle bir heyetin çalışmasına hazırlık yapmış olduğunu belirtir. Biz bu mütevazi çalışmamızla Bediüzzaman'm bu tefsirini tanıtmaya, nasıl bir tefsir olduğunu izah etmeye gayret ettik. Bediüzzaman'm bu eserinde en çok üzerinde durduğu ve önem verdiği yön, Kur'ân'm i'câz yönleri üzerinde durmasıdır. Bu zamanda Kur'ân'a yapılan hücumlara karşı Kur'ân'm i' cazının çelik bir zırh olduğunu belirtir. Yazdığı eserleriyle bu gayeye hizmet ettiğini, bunun kendisinin en büyük ideali olduğunu söyler. Bediüzzaman i'câz yönleri üzerinde dururken en çok önem verdiği mesele onu nazım yönü olmuştur. Kur'ân'm nazım yönüyle mucize olduğunu belirtir ve âyetlerden getirdiği örneklerle bunu ispatlar. Nazım yönünden sonra üzerinde durduğu diğer önemli meseleler Kur'ân'a hücum yönlerinden biri olan, Kur'ân'daki tekrarların hikmetini ve gayesini izah etmek, Kur'ân'daki tekrarların lüzumsuz olmadığını ispat etmektir. Yine bu tefsirinde huruf-u mukattaanm mahiyetini ve önemini değişik yönlerden izah eder. Eserinin diğer yönü, âyetleri izah ederken zaman zaman cümle yapıları üzerinde durur. Her âyeti kendinden öncesi ve sonrası ile mühim bir irtibatı olduğunu, bunun da Kur'ân'm önemli bir özelliği olduğunu belirtir.Kelimeleri lügat yönünden izah ederken en yeni ve orijinal mânâları seçer, diğer tefsirlerde olmayan özelliklerinden bahsetmeye çalışır. Bediüzzaman bu tefsirinde fazla olmamakla birlikte fıkhî meseleler üzerinde durur ve kendine mahsus orijinal tespitler yapar. Kelamî ve itikadî meselelere de zaman zaman işaret eder, önemli gördüğü meselelerin izahını yapar. Bediüzzaman tefsirinde Kur'ân'm müsbet ilimlere bakışını izah eder, Kur'ân'm müsbet ilimlerle muarız olmadığını, Kur'ân'm bütün ilimler ihtiva ettiğini ve işaret ettiğini belirtir. "Kur'ân'm bütün ilimleri anası" olduğunu söyler. Diğer bütün eserlerinde de din ilimleri ile fen ilimlerinin beraber olması ve okutulması gereğini belirtir. Yine eserinde toplumun psikolojik ve sosyolojik yönlerine önem vererek izahlarını bu şekilde yapar. vı
Abstract The most distinctive feature of Bediüzzaman's Qur'an commentary, "İşârâtü'1-İ'câz", is the extraordinary circumstances in which he wrote it. He of wrote it during 1 World War, and out of reach to any source. But he could not finish this book. At the beginning of his book he explains how a Qur'an commentary should be written. He strikes that a committee which will possibly make less mistakes and be more acceptable by the public should write the Qur'an commentary instead of a person whose scientific efficiency is limited. He states that with this book he prepared a beginning for the above mentioned committee. I tried with this short study to introduce this commentary of Bediiizzaman, and to explain its nature as a Qur'an commentary. Bediiizzaman, in his commentary, puts emphasis on the marvel (i'caz) feature of The Qur'an. He points out that the marvel feature is the steel armor of The Qur'an against the assaults made to The Qur'an in this time. He says that his greatest ideal is to prove the truthfulness of The Qur'an and to serve for it. The consideration on the marvel feature of The Qur'an shifts the importance to the poetic structure. He claims that The Qur'an is a miracle in Vllits poetic structure and he exemplifies this with some verses from The Qur'an. He continues with his considerations by taking the repetitions in The Qur'an which were attacked the most. He proved the repetitions to be not useless by explaining their reasons and aims. In this commentary he also explains the nature and importance of Huruf-u Mukattaa in various points of view. Another aspect dealt within this work is the consideration of the syntax. He states that every verse has an important connection to the preceding and subsequent verses and that this is a very important characteristic of The Qur'an. He explained the vocabulary with its most recent and genuine meaning. He also tried to give the features which were not mentioned in other commentaries. Although not very frequent, he tried to consider some canonical (fikhî) subjects with his own genuine style. On occasions he points out to subjects of theology (Kelam) and faith (İtikad) and gives explanations when essential. Bediuzzaman explains the point of view of The Qur'an towards natural sciences. He states that The Qur'an is in accordance to other sciences and their branches and contains or points out to them. He states: "The Qur'an is the mother of all sciences" Bediuzzaman wrote in his whole books and articles that natural and scholastic sciences should be together and taught integrated. Bediuzzaman made his explanations in accordance with the sociological and psychological tendencies of his society. viii
