Modern bilime karşı bir proje : Bilginin islamileştirilmesi (Faruki Örneği)

Abstract

ÖZET İ.R..Faruki'nin "Bilginin İslamileştirilnıesi" ne yönelik çalışması, modern bilimin İsîanı dünyasmmm meselelerine açıklama getirememesi sebebebiyle meydana getirilmiş bir projedir. Böyle bir yaklaşımla, modern sosyal bilimler dile getirilmekte ve bu disiplinler İslami değerlerle ilşkMendirüerek bir sentez elde edilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Modern sosyal bilimlerin özellikle düalist ve sekûlarist karakterinden dolayı böyle bir girişime gerek görülmektedir. Pozitrvist bir metodoloji temelinde yükselen bu disiplinler, toplumsal değerlerle irtibatını koprarak topluma rağmen bilim yapma selahiyetini kendisinde görmesine karşı, Batı' da ve Doğu' da karşı söylemler geliştirilmiştir. M. Weber'im "anlayıcı sosyolojf'si, eleştirel teori, post-modern teori örnek olarak verilebilir. Baü'daH bu gelişmelerden etkilenen mûslüman düşünürler, islam bilimi ya da bilginin İslamileştirilm esine yönelik alternatif söylemler geliştirmeye başlamışlardır. Bu söylemler, pozitivizmin topluma esas dinamizmi veren faktörleri safdışı bırakması neticesinde, meydana gelen tek boyutlu yaklaşımların dışmda, bilim-değer ilişkisini temel almışlardır. Bilginin Mamileştirilmesi Projesi de bilimin toplumsal değerlerle üşkisini kestikten sonra meydana gelen parçalanmayı bertaraf edebilecek yeni bir metodoloji ve epistemoloji oluşturma sürecine girmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Rönesansla başlayan ve Aydınlanma döneminde tamamen tek otorite olarak kabul edilen akim yerine; vahiyle, metafizikle irtibata geçerek insanı, hayatı ve kainatı bütünsel bir düşünce sistematiği çerçevesinde değerlendirebilen yeni bir metodoloji oluşturmak bu projenin temel amacıdır. Bilginin Islamfleştirilmesi projesi, kısa vadede gerçekleşebilecek durumda değildir. SO'li yıllardan sonra oluşturulan bu proje için pratik bir şeyler beklemek henüz erken görünmektedir. Buna mukabil, bu proje çerçevesinde sosyoloji, psikoloji, antropoloji ve ekonomi disiplinleri çerçevesinde bir takım çalışmalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu tez, İ.R.Faruki'nin, "Bilginin İslamfleştirilmesi'' projesiyle sınırlı tutulmuş ve yöntem olarak, kaynak tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır.

İ. Raci Faruki's study toward the Islamisation of the knowledge was developed against the negative results of the Modern Science in Islamic World. In this study, social sciences expressed and the disciplines were related with Islamic values to reach a synthesis. This kind of efforts are needed due to the main characteristics - dualistic and secularist - of modern social sciences. These disciplines rise upon the base of the positivist methodology. Although they broke the connection with social values a lot of opposite discourses released in West and East. Following Weber's explanatory sociology that was against the comprehensive sociology some alternative methodologies were such as Post-modern theory developed. In Islamic Societies, some thinkers affected the developments of the modern sciences in West have begun to develop alternative discourses toward the Islamic Science or the Islamisation of the knowledge. When these opposite discourses are investigated it can be seen that they focus on value, culture and society relation with science, in general Unlike the one dimensional approaches ignoring the essential dynamics factors of society, these discourses are based on science, value relation. In early theories developed in West, there was reason -revelation conflict. However; in Islamic Thought reason and revelation are in harmony. Both of them have their special place in integrity of human, life and universe. The Islamisation of the knowledge project is not possible to realize in short-period. However; the framework of this project some studies realized in sociology, anthropology, psychology and economics disciplines. This thesis was limited with Faruki's Islamisation of the knowledge project and used source research methods. VI
