dc.description.abstract	ÖZET Anahtar Kelimeler-Deprem,Depreme dayanıklı yapı 17 Ağustos ve 12 Kasım depremlerinden sonra en çok duyulan sözlerden biri de "insanları deprem değil, sağlam olmayan yapılar öldürdü" oldu. Peki depreme dayanıklı yapı ne demektir? Çok kesin bir dille depreme dayanıklı yapının, deprem yönetmeliğiyle diğer yönetmeliklerin koşullarına uygun olarak tasarlanmış ve yapılmış olması anlamına geldiği söylenebilir. Ancak depreme dayanıklı yapı hiçbir depremde, hiçbir şekilde hasar görmeyecek anlamına gelmez. Depreme dayanıklı yapı; herhangi bir depremde göçmeye ve yıkılmaya karşı gerekli önlemleri alınmış yapıdır.
dc.description.abstract	SUMMARY The Design Faults of the buildings demolished in 17 August 1999 eartquake Key Words - Earthquake, Resist structure for eartquake The weak structure was killed the people, not eartquake which was have been heard by people after eartquake of 17 August and 12 November. But, What does mean strong construction againts to eartquake. The strong structure againts to the eartquake; which must have been plan and construct according to eartquake regulations. Meanwhile, this must be expressed, strong construction can be have damage in any condition.
