dc.description.abstract |
As is known, in a democratic society press is an important tool that allowed different ideas and opinions to explained themselves. Because of that, the press organs of the nondiscriminatory society which must reflect an image of the representation of all individuals and groups. In other words press must play an intermediary role for reflecting ideas and approaches by placing the ideas of different groups in democratic societies.In this context the basic purpose of the study is that explores types of presentatiton in Turkish press agencies of Alevis that is one of social realities in our country. Within the context of the study, Turkish dailies Hurriyet, Sabah, Zaman and Cumhuriyet were subjected to content analysis. The analysis which includes 120 days was based on the first pages of the newspapers. With this study it is reached the conclusion that press organs in Turkey remains under the influence of political, economical and ideologial factors in stage of news selection and presentation about Alevi and Alevism. |
