dc.description.abstract |
Energy and exergy analyses were conducted of the sulphide-pulp preparation process used at the SEKA-Izmit Pulp and Paper Mill in Turkey. The results of the analyses were compared and it was determined that exergy analysis provides more detailed information thus permitting suitable intervention aimed at decreasing energy and exergy loss and increasing efficiency.
