dc.description.abstract We report on a relativistic multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock calculation including the transverse Breit and quantum electrodynamic contribution on the low-lying level structure of doubly ionized actinium (Z = 89). Excitation energies and the electric dipole (E1) and quadrupole (E2) transition and the magnetic dipole (M1) transition parameters such as the wavelengths, oscillator strengths, and transition rates for the low-lying levels of Ac III are presented. Moreover, the results obtained are compared with a few other works from the available literature.
