dc.description.abstract In this study, the use of hazelnut oil (HaO) and epoxidized hazelnut oil (EHaO) as plasticizers in acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and polychloroprene rubber (CR) was investigated. Tensile properties, glass transition temperatures, swelling charasteristics in polar liquids of the compounds of HaO and EHaO were determined. Oil swelling performance was better with EHaO and not more than 17 % swelling was reached when NBR rubber was used. While reaching these values, tensile properties were acceptable.
