Covid-19 Pandemisi Döneminde Sakarya İlinde Türk Ailesi = Turkish Family in Sakarya Province During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı Covid-19 Pandemisi sürecinde ailede yaşanan değişimlerin temel çıkış noktalarını anlamak, değişimleri gözlemlemektir. Farklı dinamikler üzerine inşa edilen Türk ailelerinde yaşanan etkileri ortaya çıkartmaktır. Olası bir salgın durumunda Türk toplumu için aile temelli eksiklerin belirlenmesi ve ihtiyaçların daha çabuk giderilmesi noktasında ışık tutmaktır. Bu çalışma Covid-19 Pandemisini afet sosyolojisi çatısı altında değerlendirmektedir. Yaşanan bu afette Türk aile yapısının ekonomik, psikolojik ve sosyal alanlarda nasıl etkilendiği ve bu sürecin ne gibi değişimlere neden olduğunu tespit etmek ana hedef olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırma kapsamında belirlenen 8 aile tipolojisi üzerinden Covid-19 Pandemisi sürecinde ailelerde gözlemlenen değişen durumlar ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden derinlemesine mülakat tekniği ve katılımcı gözlem teknikleri bir arada birbirini destekleyecek şekilde kullanılmıştır. Aile tipolojileri katılımcı gözlem sürecinde yapılan gözlemler sonucunda oluşturulmuştur. Görüşmeler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu temel alınarak 1 Eylül – 1 Ekim 2022 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler tematik içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda Covid19 Pandemisi'nin Türk ailesi üzerindeki etkilerinin kalıcılığının aile yapılarına göre değiştiği tespit edilmiştir. Pandemi öncesinde aile içerisinde sorun yaşayanlarda sorunlarda artış gözlemlenmiştir. Aileyi etkileyen en önemli etkenin kayıp olduğu görülmektedir. Bu kayıp hem aile bireylerinden birinin kaybı hem de maddi kayıp şeklinde karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada saptanan değişimlerin mevcut durumda etkilenen ailelere destek çalışmalarının planlanmasında ve bundan sonraki olası Pandemi durumlarında alınması gereken önlemlerin planlanmasında yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

The aim of the study is to understand the main starting points of the changes in the family during the Covid-19 Pandemic process and to observe the changes. It is to reveal the effects experienced in Turkish families built on different dynamics. In the event of a possible epidemic, it is to shed light on the determination of family-based deficiencies for the Turkish society and the elimination of needs more quickly. This study evaluates the Covid-19 Pandemic under the umbrella of disaster sociology. The main objective was to determine how the Turkish family structure was affected in economic, psychological and social areas in this disaster and to determine what kind of changes this process caused. The changing situations observed in families during the Covid-19 Pandemic were discussed through 8 family typologies determined within the scope of this research. In the study, in-depth interview technique and participant observation techniques from qualitative research methods were used together to support each other. Family typologies were formed as a result of the observations made during the participant observation process. Interviews were conducted between September 1 and October 1, 2022, based on a semi-structured interview form. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed with thematic content analysis method. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the permanence of the effects of the Covid19 Pandemic on the Turkish family varies according to family structures. An increase in problems was observed in those who had problems in the family before the pandemic. It is seen that the most important factor affecting the family is loss. This loss appears in the form of both the loss of a family member and financial loss.
