Ortaöğretim gençliğinin toplumsallaşmadan doğan problemleri

Abstract

ÖZET Toplumu oluşturan bireylerin önemli bir bölümünü genç nüfus oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada genç nüfusun bir bölümünü oluşturan Adapazarı'ndaki düz lise gençliğinin aile, okul, akran grubu ilişkileri çerçevesinde toplumsallaşma problemlerinin, içinde bulundukları şartlarla birlikte ortaya çıkartılması amaçlanmıştır. Adapazarı'ndaki ortaöğrenimin ikinci aşamasını oluşturan öğrenciler araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Atatürk Lisesi, Ali Dilmen Lisesi, Mithatpaşa Lisesi ve Ozanlar Lisesi oluşturmuştur. Lise öğrencilerinin içinde bulunduğu toplumsallaşma problemlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla anket ve gözlem tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin farklı sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel aile yapılarının olduğu; öğrenci-aile, öğrenci-okul ve veli-okul ilişkilerinde az da olsa problemlerin yaşandığı görülmüştür, öğrenciler akran grubu ile ilişkilerinde bir problem yaşamamaktadırlar. Gençleri toplumda etkileyen yakın çevreden bireylere rastlanılmasına rağmen onlar, kendilerinden memnun olduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Başarılı olmak için çok çalışmanın gereğine inanan gençler, yeteneklerine göre bir üniversiteye girmek istediklerini belirtmişlerdir. öğrencilerin, içinde yaşadıkları toplumun değer yargılarından uzak "ben" duygusunun hakim olduğu bir kişilik geliştirdikleri ve bu nedenle sosyal çevrenin beklentileriyle çatışmaya girdikleri görülmüştür.

The most important part of the society includes teenagers. In this research, it is aimed to show the socialization problems of teenagers in Adapazarı High Schools, taking into the consideration the relations with their families, their schools and their equals in age, and the conditions they live in. The students in this study were chosen among the High School students in Adapazarı. The study was carried out in Atatürk, Ozanlar, Ali Dilmen and Mithatpaşa High Schools. To determine the socialization problems of high school students, we used questionnaires and observation techniques. İn this research I found that the students had different socio- economic and socio- cultural family characteristics and they had little problems in their relations with their families and their school friends. Although there are some people in their near surroundings who have affected the teenages, the teenagers were glad to have them around. The teenagers who believe in the need of a hard work to be succesful, told that they wanted to enroll a university according to their abilities. It was observed that the students, far from the desires of the society they live in, became more sefish and therefore they opposed to the expectations of the society from them. XI
