Hicri üçüncü asır, İslâmî ilimlerin oluşumunu tamamladığı bir dönemdir. Haris el- Muhâsibî de bu asırda yaşamış, İslâmî ilimlerin hemen hepsinde özellikle tasavvufda önde gelen simalardan biridir. O'nun İslâmî düşünceye (kelâma) etkisi de azımsanmayacak kadar çoktur. Bu araştırmamızda onun özellikle Mu'tezile ile olan mücadelesinin yanında; kelâma katkısının boyutları da ortaya konmak istenmiştir. Çalışmamız bir giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde Muhasibi 'ye kadar kelâm ilminin geçirdiği safhalara işaret edilmiş ve onun Kelâmî düşüncelerinin oluşmasında etkili olan yaşadığı çağın ve çevrenin genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Birinci bölümde; Haris el-Muhâsibî'nin hayatı, hocaları, talebeleri; etkilendiği ve etkilediği sosyo-kültürel çevresinin yanında, önde gelen eserleri de tesbit edilmeye gayret edilmiştir. ikinci bölümde ise; Muhâsibî'nin eserlerinde tesbit edilen kelâma ait görüşleri yine kelâmın üç ana başlığı olan; Uluhiyet, Nübüvvet ve Ahiret konularına göre ayrılmıştır. Ayrıca Muhâsibî'nin bu görüşleri İmam-ı Azam Ebu Hanife'nin bu konulara ait görüşleri ile karşılaştırılarak; ortak ve farklı yönler tesbit edilmek istenmiştir. Ancak daha çok ortak noktalarda birleştikleri görülmüştür. Üçüncü bölümde ise Haris el-Muhâsibî'ye göre imarım tarifi, iman amel ilişkisi, istidrac, Allah 'm bağışlaması ve günah gibi konular hakkındaki görüşlerinin yanında yaşadığı dönemde mücadele ettiği; Mu'tezile, Kaderiye, Mürcie, Cehmiye, Hariciler ve Rafiziyye gibi fırkalar hakkında bilgi verilmiş ve Muhâsibî'nin onlara karşı yaptığı itirazlara yer verilmiştir. Haris el-Muhâsibî'nin özellikle İslâm Tasavvufunda etkili bir isim olduğu; yerli ve IXyabancı araştırmacılar tararından vurgulanmıştır. Yapılan bu araştırmalarda onun kelâmî görüşlerine de kısaca işaret edilmiştir. Biz bu çalışmayla onun kelâmî görüşlerini daha geniş bir şekilde ortaya koymaya çalışmakla beraber Allah' ın sıfatlarını kabul etmeyen fırkalar (özellikle Mu'tezile) karşısında bu sıfatları savunarak Sıfâtiyye ekolünün ilk temsilcilerinden olduğuna işaret etmeye çalıştık.
The third Hegira century is a period, during which the Islamic sciences have completed their formation. Haris el-Muhâsibî, who has lived in this century, is one of the leading personalities in almost all of the Islamic sciences and especially in Sufism. His influence to the Islamic theology is so much that can not be regarded as too little at all. With this study we tried to bring to light also and especially the size of his contributions to the theology beside of his fight against Mu'tezile. Our study comprises an introduction and three parts. In the introductory part we have mentioned the stages of the development of the theology till the Muhâsibî and made a general evaluations of the epoque and environment, when and where he has lived and which have affected the formation of his thelological opinion. In the first part we made an effort to determine the life, teachers and students of Haris el-Muhâsibî and his social and cultural ambiance as well as the main pieces, which have been affected by him and which have any influence to him. In the second part the opinions of Muhâsibî about the theology have been grouped in accordance with the subjects of the three main chapters of the theology: Nature and Essence of Allah, Prophetic Mission and Last Judgement. Also comparing the opinions of Muhâsibî on these subjects with those of the founder of the Hanifite school of orthodoxy Ebu Hanife we desired to determine their the common and different opinions. As a result we determined that they are united more in their common points. In the third part we presented information about the description of the faith, relation between the faith and the practice, God's (Allah) inciting a sinner to perdition little by XIlittle by granting success at the beginning of his sin, God's forgiving and sin as well as about the heretic sects as Mu'tezile, Kaderie, Murcie, Cehmie, Hariciat, and Rafizie against which he has fought and we gave place to the objections made by Muhasibi against them. The local and foreign researches have accentuated that Haris el-Muhâsibî is and influential name especially in the Islamic Theology. In these researches his theological opinions are mentioned in brief In this research we tried to present his theological opinions in a more detailed manner as well as to mark that he, defending the God's attributes against the heretic sects (and especially the sect Mu'tezile) which do not approve these divine attributes, is one the first representatives of the theology school Sıfâtiyye.
