Abstract

Türkiye'de işsizlik sorunu uzun yıllardan beri, ülke gündemini meşgul etmektedir. İşsizlikle ilgili kesin çözümlere ulaşmak maalesef mümkün olmamıştır. İşsizliğin çözümünde emek-yoğun sektörlerin yeri ve önemi gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Bu sektörlerin en başında ise turizm sektörü gelmektedir. Turizm, Türkiye'de gelişme gösterebilmiş bir sektördür.. Ülke ekonomisine olumlu etkilerinin yanında, istihdam yaratma özelliği de bu sektörü işsizliği azaltmada ön plana çıkarmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, istihdam ve işsizlik konularının teorik alt yapısı incelenip, daha sonra Türkiye'nin istihdam yapısı ve işsizlik problemi irdelenmiştir. Aynı zamanda, turizmdeki gelişmelere ve sektörün özelliklerine değinilerek, istihdama ne gibi etkileri olabileceği üzerine incelemelerde bulunulmuştur. Yapılan çalışmada, turizm sektörünün gelişmesi ile turizmde istihdamın sürekli arttığı, daha az maliyetle daha çok insana istihdam yaratabildiği, çoğu sektörün istihdam hacminden daha istikrarlı bir şekilde artış meydana geldiği görülmüştür. Turizm sektörünün işsizliği çözümündeki katkısını artırabilmek için nelerin yapılması ile ilgili ve genel olarak işsizliğin azaltılabilmesi için neler yapılması gereği hakkında önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The unemployment issue in Turkey has distracted the items of business of the country for years. Unfortunately, to find a way out of unemployment hasn?t been possible. Day by day the value of labour intensive sectors have come into prominence. Tourism holds the first place among these sectors. Tourism is a sector, which could make headway in Turkey. Besides favourable impressions to the economy of the country, characteristic of creating deploy brings this sector in the foreground in decreasing unemployement, as well. In this study, theoretical infastructure of deploy and unemployment matters were analyzed; thereafter structure of deploy and issue of unemployment of Turkey was examined. At the same time, development of tourism and properties of sector were refered and their possible effects on deploy were searched. In this study; as a result, according to tourism sector, deploy rises continuously, with less cost more people have job creation and a more consistent raise on the capacity of deploy occurs. Suggestions about improving the contribution of tourism sector in the resolution and diminishing of unemployment were come out.
