Abstract

Çocukların edebi eserlere olan yönelimi 10-12 yas aralığında artıs göstermektedir ve çocuklarınbilissel, duyussal ve psikomotor gelisimleri açısından edebî eserler müfredatı destekleyiciniteliktedir. Ancak bu eserlerin eğitim süreci içine dahil edilmeden önce, çocuklarınseviyelerine uygunluğu noktasında incelenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda tez çalısmasınınamacının su sorulara cevap bulmak olduğu söylenebilir:a) Muzaffer ?zgü'nün romanları tema, eğitsel iletiler ve dil yönünden 10-12 yas grubuçocuklarına uygun mudur?b) Ele alınan romanlardan hareketle Muzaffer ?zgü'nün romanları 10-12 yas grubuçocuklarının okuması için tavsiye edilebilir mi?Bu sorulara cevap aranırken, literatür çalısmasıyla elde edilen çocuk edebiyatına dair bilgilerısığında, arastırmanın evreni olan Muzaffer ?zgü'nün yayımlanmıs 32 çocuk romanından, farklıtemaları içeren 12 romanı örneklem olarak alındı. Romanlar tema, eğitsellik ve dil açısındanelestirel bir gözle okundu, fislenip, alıntılar yapıldı. Elde edilen veriler yeni bir tasnifle biraraya getirilerek ilgili bölümlerde çözümlemeleri gerçeklestirildi.Ayrıca yazarla yüz yüzegörüsme yapılarak yazarlık anlayısı ve yazmıs olduğu eserler ile ilgili kendisine çesitli sorularyöneltildi, alınan cevaplar değerlendirildi.Bu çerçevede yapılan çalısma sonucunda incelenen romanlarda tema, eğitsellikve dil konusunda su bulgular elde edilmistir :- Arastırmada ele alınan her 12 romanda islenilen tema ve eğitsel iletilerin 10-12 yasgrubu çocuklarında olumlu davranıs değisikliği yapabileceği, çocukların kisilikgelisimlerine katkıda bulunabileceği ve eğitsel değer tasıdığı belirlenmistir.Romanlarda kullanılan dil hususunda;- Türkçe kelimeler kullanma kaygısıyla standart dilde kullanılmayan kelimelerinkullanıldığı,- Yerel dile ait kelimelerin sık kullanıldığı,- Argo sözcüklerin çok az olsa da kullanıldığı,- Yabancı sözcüklerin mecbur kalmadıkça kullanılmadığı,- Duyulara yönelik kelimelerin sıklıkla kullanıldığı,- Cümlelerin çoğunun kurallı, fiil cümleleri olduğu,- Deyimlere yeterli düzeyde yer verildiği,- Çok sayıda ikileme kullanıldığı görülmüstür.Yukarıdaki bulgulardan, romanlardaki dilin sözcük seçimi konusundaki bazı aksaklıklar dısında10-12 yas grubu çocuklarına uygun olduğu sonucuna varılmıstır.

Children begin to read literature works when they are between the 10-12 years old and from thepoint of the children?s cognitive, emotional and psycokinetic growth the curriculum of literatureworks are in the form of supportive characteristic.Before icluding these literature works into the education process, they need to be researched onthe ıssue of the appropriateness of these works to the children?s level.In this case, the man aim ofthe thesis to find an answer to these questions:a) Are the Muzaffer ?zgü?s novels ? with in the point of to theme, pedagogical and styleappropriatefor the children who are at the age of 10-12 ?b)When we think of the Muzaffer ?zgü?s novels which are studied carefully, can they berecommeded to the children who are at the age of 10-12 ?While trying to find an answer to these questions, in the ligth of informations about childliterature which are obtained with literature studying, from the Muzaffer ?zgü?s published32(thirty-two) chil novels which are on the centre of the researching, 12 (twelve) novels whichcontain different themes have been taken as an example. Novels have been read critically on thepoint of theme, pedagogical and style, they have been prepared an index card for, and quotedfrom them.Obtained data, which have been brought together with the new classification, have been analyzedin the related parts. Also, there have been made an interview with an author and various kinds ofquestions have been asked about his perceptiveness an being an author and his literature Worksthen his answers have been evaluated. At the end of the studying in this frame, novels whichhave been studied these findings have been obtained about theme, pedagogical and style.- Theme and educational messages, which have been examined in the 12(twelve) novels havebeen taken into account in the investigation, would have a positive effect on behaviourchangingon the children who are at the age of 10-12 also it was noted that they have contributed to thechildren?s characteristic development and they had a educational value.In the point of language which are used in novels;- By taking into account to use only Turkish words using words which haven?t been used inStandard language.- Using words frequently which are belong to the local language.- Using slang words a little.- Not using foreing words without obliged to use them.- Using sensory words frequently.- Most of sentences are regular, verb ended sentences.- Including enough idioms.- Using a lot of assonant doublets.With the help of these findings, except the problems about the words choice of novels,it has beenconcluded that the style of novel are appropriate for rhe children who are at the age of 10-12.
