Bu çalışmanın amacı Kütahya-Gediz ilçesi 11-13 yaş grubu erkek öğrencilerin Eurofıt testleri ile Fiziksel uygunluk normları araştırılarak durum tespiti yapmak ve literatüre katkıda bulunmaktır. Araştırma Kütahya-Gediz ilçesinde rasgele seçilmiş Atatürk İlköğretim Okulunda okumakta olan 11-13 yaş grubu, gönüllü 25 sporcu ve 25 Beden Eğitimi dersi almış öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. Bu öğrenciler, boy ve vücut ağırlığı, deri altı yağı ölçümü, flamingo denge testi, esneklik, durarak uzun atlama, mekik testi, 10x5 m. koşu testi, durarak dikey sıçrama testi ve 20 m. mekik koşu testi uygulanmıştır. Test sonuçları deney grubu ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere iki grupta değerlendirilmiştir. Bu öğrenciler üzerinde ilk önce ön test uygulanmış, daha sonra 8. hafta sonra son test uygulanmıştır. Kontrol grubu deneklere hiçbir çalışma yaptırılmamıştır. Beden eğitimi öğretmeni sporcu grubu haftada bir gün okul bahçesinde antrenman yaptırmış ayrıca beden eğitimi derslerinde yıllık plan doğrultusunda ders işlemiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre aynı yaş grubundaki kontrol grubu erkek öğrenciler, sporcu grubu erkek öğrenciler arasında vücut yağ yüzdesi (P<0,05) anlamsız olduğu bulunmuştur. Deneklerin boy, kilo değerleri, vücut yüzey alanı test sonuçlan birbirine yakın değerler gösterirken, sporcu grubu erkek öğrenciler denge, esneklik, durarak uzun atlama, dikey sıçrama, mekik çekme, 20m. mekik koşu ve 10x5m.hız testlerinde kontrol grubu öğrencilerden daha (P<0,05) anlamlı bulunmuştur. ABSTRACT The main objective of this study is to research the physical fitness norms of male students, aged 11-13, in Gediz/Kütahya by applying Eurofit tests, and in doing so contribute to the existing literature. The subjects of this study were selected randomly among the students of Atatürk Primary School (Gediz/Kütahya). Aged between 11 and 13, 25 of these students took sports classes and another 25 were engaged in team sports. Students selected were subjected to several tests which ranged from height and weight, measure of subcutan fat, flamingo balance, flexibility, long jump by pausing, strength shuttle, 10x5 running, vertical jump by pausing to 20 m. shuttle run test. Research results have been assessed in terms of two groups which were; control group and test group. At first students were subjected to pre-test and at the beginning of the week 8 to final test. Subjects in the control group were not allowed any sportive activity. Whereas, the physical education teacher had the test group follow the sport activities ones a week in the school yard and join in the sport classes set by the curriculum plan. According to the research results, in the same age category the body fat percentage (p<0,05) of the control group and test group was found as not meaningful. According to the test results on height, weight and body measurement, a similarity was found between the subjects of both groups. However, subjects in the test group were found more meaningful (P<0,05) than the subjects in the control group in terms of flamingo balance, flexibility, long jump by pause, vertical jump, strength shuttle, 20 m. shuttle run and 10x5 m running tests.
