Abstract

Enflasyon; günümüzün en önemli ekonomik olayı ve sorunudur. Bir ülkedeki fiyatlar genel düzeyinin devamlı ve önemli oranlarda artması olarak kabaca açıklanabilecek enflasyon; bir ekonominin bütünü içinde yar alan tüm birimleri olumlu veya olumsuz etkiler. Ülke ekonomisi üzerindeki gerçek ve zarar verici etkisinin yanısıra ayrıca; ekonomi içinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin finansal yapılarının zarar görmesine de neden olmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında; dünya genelinde enflasyon etkilerini giderici muhasebe metotlarından kısaca bahsedilmiş, bunun yanısıra Brezilya'da uygulanan ve başarısı kanıtlanan "Brezilya Metodu" incelenmiştir. Ayrıca; Türkiye'de faaliyet gösteren şirketler için enflasyon ayarlamaları incelenirken; IFC (International Financial Corporation) için yapılan ve ülkemizde faaliyet gösteren 37 şirketin hesaplarının Brezilya Metoduna göre ayarlanmış ve ayarlanmamış değerleri üzerinde yorumlar yer almış olup dünya üzerindeki gelişmekte olan ülkeler arasındaki konumu incelenmiştir.

Inflation is the most important economic event and problem of our contemporary. Inflation which is usually roughly described in terms of an annual percentage that represents the rate at which this years prices have increased over the previous years prices affects positive or negative all units involving in all of the economy. Not only there is not real and destructive effect but also financial structures of the business acting in the economy results in suffering harm. In this study, worldwide, it has been shortly stated from account methods getting rid of Inflation effects. In addition to that, Brazil method, applied in Brazil and proved the success, has been investigated. Besides that, while researching inflation adjustments for the companies acting in Turkey, made for IFC (International Financial Corporation) and according to the Brazil method, there have been made some comments on adjusted and unadjusted values accounts of 37 companies acting in our country and it has been investigated the position among the developing countries in the World.
