Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, ortaöğretim okullarında okul yöneticilerinin örgütsel stres kaynaklarım ortaya çıkarmak ve stresle başa çıkma yöntemlerini saptayıp, analiz etmek ve gerekli durumlarda önerilerde bulunmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemi Sakarya ilinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı toplam 51 resmi ortaöğretim okulunda görev yapmakta olan 51 okul müdürü ve 107 müdür yardımcısından oluşmuştur. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmış olup, gerekli veriler anket uygulaması yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin çözümü, SPSS for Ms Windows paket programından yararlanarak frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, T testi ve çapraz dağılım analizi yapılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada aşağıdaki sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. 1. Müdür yardımcılartnca stres kaynaklarına ilişkin görüşlerden ücretin yetersizliği sorusunda "pek çok " seçeneğinde yoğunlaşarak en yüksek stres değerine ulaşmıştır 2'Okul müdürlerince stres kaynaklarına ilişkin görüşlerden ücretin yetersizliği, mevzuatın karışık olması, yetkilerin yetersiz olması "çok" seçeneğinde yoğunlaşmıştır 3. Yöneticilerin stresle başa çıkma yöntemlerine ilişkin görüşlerden "stres yaratan durumu güvenilen biri ile konuşma "seçeneğinde ve "çok" tercihinde yoğunlaşmıştır. 4. Müdür ve müdür yardımcılannca stres kaynaklarına ilişkin görüşlerden "yetkilerin az olması " sorusunda anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. 5. Orta öğretim yöneticileri stres kaynaklarına ilişkin görüşlerden "işinizde sizden beklenenin açık olmaması" seçeneğinde "hiç" tercihinde yoğunlaşarak bu tercihin stres sebebi olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır VI6. Orta öğretim yöneticileri stres kaynaklarına ilişkin görüşlerden "çalışmaların karşılığını alamamak" seçeneğinde "çok" tercihinde yoğunlaşmıştır.
The purpose of this research is to find out the organizational stresses of high school's administrators and to determine ways to cope with it and if necessary to give advises. In this study, 51 headmasters and 107 headmaster associates of 51 formal high school ruled by Ministry of Education in Sakarya were included and tested In this research, scanning model was applied an required data were supplied by means of inquiry. The solution of data was performed by means of a program which is SPSS for Ms Windows. That program provided us solution by assessing the frequency, percentage and arithmetic average of data, by using T test and crosswise distribution analysts of data The following results were obtained. 1 -Headmaster associates reached the peak stress value by marking the "very much" choice of the question about the effect of lack of wage on the source of stress 2-Headmasters intensified on "much" choice for lack of wage, the confusion of subjects under discussion an insufficiend of authorization as source of stress. 3-Admdministrators intensified on the choice of "talking with someone the causing events of stress" by marking "much" for tahat question as a way of struggle by stress 4-Concerning the sources of stress, answers given by headmasters and their associates were found to be different for the choice of "lack of authorization". 5-It was understood by high school administrators that the following question was not the reason for the source of stress by marking the choice "none" for that question "the expectation from me is not clear about my job. 6-The choice "much" was extremely signed for the question of "insufficiend support for their performance" by high school administrators related with the stress sources.
