Mobil öğrenme özelliğinin öğrenciler tarafından kullanılabilirliği

Abstract

Günümüzde gelişen teknoloji ile öğrenme uygulamaları daha çok kişiye daha kısa sürede ulaşmaktadır. Teknolojinin bu gelişimi mobil teknolojiyi de yakından etkilemektedir. Mobil teknolojideki bu gelişimler öğrenmeyi daha etkili hale getirmek için kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Mobil öğrenme cihazları kullanıcıya yer zaman sınırı olmaksızın öğrenme ortamları oluşturur. Aynı zamanda internet tabanlı uzaktan eğitim sistemlerinde, cep telefonlar gibi yaygın olan mobil aygıtlar için öğrenme ortamlarının ve etkinliklerin geliştirilmesi ve gelecekte yaygın olarak kullanılabilir olması öğretme ortamları içerisinde yer alan öğrencilerin görüşlerinin ve kullanımlarının belirlenmesinin önemli olacağı düşünülmektedir.Bu çalışmanın amacı, günümüz teknolojisi ile eğitim teknolojisindeki yeniliklerin artması sonucu ortaya çıkan mobil öğrenmenin öğrenciler tarafından kullanım durumlarının belirlenmesi ve görüşlerinin alınmasıdır.Araştırmada kullanılması amacıyla geliştirilen anket 2009-2010 Eğitim Öğretim yılı içerisinde SAÜ Eğitim Fakültesi BÖTE bölümünde okuyan 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulanarak, elde edilen bulgular SPSS 17(Statistical Package for Social Sciences) programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.Bu çalışmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin mobil öğrenmeye yönelik görüşleri cinsiyet ve sınıf değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermezken, mobil aygıtları öğrenme amaçlı kullanım durumu değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılıklar gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.

Nowadays, with the developing technology ,more people have the chance of benefitting from the learning practises in a shorter period of time, compared to the past. The developments in technology reflect the mobile technology as well. The advances in mobile technology are started to be used to make the learning more effective. The means of mobile instruction create a learning environment to the users without any time and place limitation. Moreover, it is thought that in the internet based remote education systems, developing the learning environment and facilities for the common mobile means like mobile phone and increasing the usability of these vehicles provide the learners with a facilitative atmosphere where they share their ideas.The purpose of this work is to determine the function of mobile learning, which is increased to be used due to the great advances in technology and education technology, by taking the opinions of students.The questionnaire used in this survey is conducted to the third fourth class students of SAU Education Faculty in BOTE department, and the findings are analyzed with SPSS 17 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences).The findings of the research indicate that while the attitudes of the students on mobile learning do not show serious differences on the variations of sex and class levels, the learners? behaviours change in a great extend on the variation of using the means of mobile instruction so as to learn.
