Okul güvenliği sorununa farklı bir yaklaşım : okul polisi uygulaması

Abstract

Bu araştırmada ?okul güvenliğine farklı bir yaklaşım: okul polisi uygulaması?' araştırılmıştır. Araştırma okul polislerinin ve okul müdürlerinin okul güvenliğine ve okul polisliğine yönelik algılarını karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Araştırmada nitel araştırma modeli, olgu bilim araştırma deseni ve ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada veriler, yedi okul polisi ve on okul müdüründen, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen mülakat formu ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonunda okul polislerinin ve okul müdürlerinin okul güvenlikleri ve okul polisi uygulaması hakkındaki algılarının uyumlu olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırma sonunda elde edilen bulgular özetle şunlardır.?Okul polisleri okullarla ilgili ayrı bir eğitim almamıştır.?Okul müdürleri okul polisi uygulamasının içeriği hakkında yeterince bilgi sahibi değildir.?Okul polisleri yükümlülüklerini yerine getirmektedir.?okul güvenliği aile, arkadaş çevresi, sigara-alkol-uyuşturucu madde kullanımı, çeteler, okul yönetimi ve öğretmen tutumu, medya, şiddet içerikli bilgisayar oyunları, mafya ve okul dizileri ve sosyal çevre unsurlarından etkilenmektedir.?okul polisleri okul idarelerinden, öğretmenlerden, öğrencilerden ve velilerden çoğunlukla olumlu tepkiler almaktadır.?Okul müdürleri okullarındaki sorunları saklama eğilimindedirler.?Okullardaki güvenlik önlemleri maddi nedenlerden dolayı yeterli ve etkili değildir.?Okul güvenliğini bozan öğrencilerin ortak özelliği ailevi problemlerinin olmasıdır.?Okul güvenliği sorunun üstesinden gelmek için Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına, okul idarelerine, öğretmenlere, öğrencilere, ailelere, emniyete ve medyaya sorumluluklar düşmektedir.?Okul polisi uygulaması okullardaki şiddeti azaltmıştır.

In this research, ? A different approach to school safety: school police practice? were investigated. The research?s been made to examine comperatiuly the school principals and the school police perception of school safety and the scool police.Research qualitative research model, cases of scientific research designs and criteria sampling met hod was used. In this study, data on police and principals from seven schools, developed by researchers form was collected by interview. Content analysis of the data obtained is used in resolving.At the end of the research, the school principals and the school of police are seemed to be compatible about school safety the school of police practice. The findings, that summarized at the end of the research are like this.?The school of polices haven?t been educated seperately related with the schools.?The school principals haven?t enough knowledge about ?the school of police practice??The school of polices?ve carried out their obligations.?School security?s been affected from family, friends, smoking-taking alcol and drug, groups, school administration and teachers attitudes, the media, computer programs- content violence, and the school series, and social enviroment.?The school of police?s usually received positive reactions from the school administration, teachers, students and parents.?The school principals are tend to hide the problems in their schools.?The security in schools isn?t effective due to financial reasons.?The common fature of students, disrupts the school safety, is having family problems.?To evercome solve `school safety? issue, great responsibilities?ve been given to Ministry Of Education, school administrations, teachers, students, families, yard and media.?The school of police practice reduces the violence in schools.
