İlköğretim T.C. İnkılap Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersi öğretiminde dramanın akademik başarıya ve tutuma etkisi

Abstract

Bu arastırma ilköğretim Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ?nkılâp Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersi, Kurtulus Savasıünitesi Hazırlık Dönemi konularında drama yönteminin öğrenmeye katkısını incelemek amacıylayapılmıstır. Arastırmada dramanın öğrenmeye katkısını saptayabilmek için basarı testi ve tutumpuanları kullanılmıstır.Arastırma 2006?2007 eğitim ve öğretim yılında ?zmir ili Buca ?lçesi Çamlık ?lköğretim Okulu 8/Ave 8/B sınıfındaki 46 öğrenci ile gerçeklesmistir. Arastırmanın kapsamındaki konular arastırmasürecinde kontrol grubunu olusturan 23 öğrenciye geleneksel yöntemler ile deney grubunu olusturan23 öğrenciye ise drama tekniği ile anlatılmıstır. Uygulama 15 is günü devam etmistir. Verileruygulamanın basında ve sonunda uygulanan basarı testi ve tutum ölçeklerinden elde edilmistir.Arastırma kapsamında toplanan verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıstır. Arastırmasonrasında geleneksel yöntemlerle dersin anlatıldığı kontrol grubu ve drama yöntemiyle dersinanlatıldığı deney grubu son test puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu ortaya çıkmıstır.Kontrol grubu ve deney grubu uygulama sonrası tutumlarında anlamlı bir fark olduğu saptanmıstır.Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ?nkılâp Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersi KurtulusSavası Ünitesi Hazırlık Dönemi konularının öğretiminde drama yönteminin etkili olduğu sonucunavarılmıstır.

This reserarch is conducted with the aim to investigate the contribution of drama management tolearning the topics of the Preparatory Period of the Unite about the Turkish War of Indepence inthe elemantary education lesson Turkey Rebublic?s History of Revolution and Atatürk?sPoliticial Doctrine. In order to determine the contribution of drama to learning, in this researchsuccess tests and attitude points are used.The research is conducted with 46 pupils of the classes 8/A and 8/B of the Camlık ElementaryEducation School of the District Buca of the Province ?zmir during the education year 2006?2007. The topics covered by the research are thought in the research duration to 23 pupils, whoare representing the control group, using the traditional method and to 23 pupils, who arerepresenting the test group, using the drama technique. The application continued 15 businessdays. The data are obtained from the success tests and attitudes scales applied at the beginningand end of the application.For the analysis of the data collected under the excent of the research, the SPSS packageprogram is used. After the research, a significant difference came out between the last test pointsof the control group being thought the lesson using the traditional method and the test groupbeing thought the lesson using the drama methods.It is determined, that there is a significant difference in the attitude of the control group and testgroup after the research.
