Abstract

Özellikle geçmişten günümüze değin yapılmış sınıflandırmalarda kabul görenyaklaşım-ki ilerlemeci bir perspektifle ortaya konan- tarım toplumu, sanayi toplumu ve bilgitoplumu olarak toplum tiplerinin sınıflandırılmasıdır.Toplum tiplerinde yaşanan bu değişimle birlikte sosyal olgularda bir değişim geçirmektedir.Özellikle de toplumsal yapıyı dönüştürücü etkide bulunan eğitim olgusu da toplum tiplerinebağlı olarak farklı görünümler kazanmaktadır. Örneğin sanayi toplumunda eğitimde amaçsanayiye uygun insan tipi yetiştirmek iken bir sonraki toplum sınıflandırmasında eğitimin buamacından büyük bir kopuş görülmektedir. Kısacası eğitim çağa uygun olarak şekillenmekteve toplumsal yapının dinamiklerini de etkilemektedir.Eğitim olgusunun toplum tiplerine göre değişmesi eğitimin unsurlarında da farklı özellikleriberaberinde getirir. Değişen toplumsal yapıyla birlikte eğitimin amaçları, okul yapısı,öğretmen ve öğrenci profili, öğretim yöntemleri ve öğretim programı da değişime uğramıştır.Çalışmada amaç, sanayi toplumundan bilgi toplumuna değin değişen toplumsal yapınınözelliklerini ve en önemlisi de bu değişime bağlı olarak eğitim olgusunun geçirdiği aşamalarıve eğitimin özelliklerini açıklamaktır. Eğitim olgusunda gerçekleşen değişim, eğitimin bellibaşlı dinamikleriyle açıklanmıştır. Bununla birlikte toplum tipleri de kuramsal yönden elealınmıştır. Toplum tipleri ve sosyal yapı belli bir özel ülke örneğinde incelenmemiştir.Özellikle toplum sınıflandırmaları batılı düşünürlerin ortaya koydukları teoriler üzerindenaçıklanmıştır. Çalışmada yöntem olarak, başta literatür tarama olmak üzere; karşılaştırma,analiz, sentez, betimleme (durum saptaması) ve yorumlama teknikleri kullanılmıştır.Çalışmaya uygun olarak genel-geçer olarak kabul edilen yöntem fikir betimlemesidir.Çalışma ile geçmişten günümüze tarım toplumundan başlayarak bilgi toplumuna kadar vebilgi toplumu olma sürecinde eğitimin yapısı, eğitimde değişen paradigmalar ortayakonabilmiştir. Dolayısıyla eğitim kurumundaki dönüşümler, eğitimin unsurlarında yaşananfarklılıklar sergilenebilmiştir. Bu sayede eğitimin çağa uygun olarak yenidenyapılandırılabilmesi sağlanabilecek ve toplumsal yapıyla bir bütünlük taşıyan eğitimolgusunun karakteristikleri üzerinde farkındalık söz konusu olacaktır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Sanayi Toplumu, Bilgi Toplumu, Eğitim, Toplumsal Yapı

Therefore the society that covers us, can be analyzed well. Thecategorization of society types has been tried to make in the historical period.According to progressivist perspective the society can be divided into types likeagricultural society, industry society and information society. This categorization isvery common in social science researches.As the society changes the social phenomenons change. Especially the educationphenomenon which is very important in those social phenomenons change markedly.Therefore, the aims of education has been changed according to society types. Forinstance, the aim of education in industry society is to teach people for industrialpurposes. Shortly, the education change form according to period and it affects thedynamics of social structure. Especially the changing parts in education are aims,structure of the schools, teachers, students, methods of teaching, and curriculums.The aim this study is to explain the properties of social structure and education in thetransition period from industry society to information society. The society types wasexamined from theoretical perspective. The social structure analysis in different typesof society was not examined according to any country model. The categorization ofsocieties was explained by the western social scientists. The method used in this studyis examination of literature. Additionally; comparison, analysis, synthesis, descriptionand interpretation techniques were also used.
