İlköğretim II. kademe okul şarkılarının öğrencilere uygunluğunun incelenmesi

Abstract

Müzik eğitimi, insan hayatının doğumundan ölümüne kadar hemen hemen her dönemini etkileyici bir özellik taşımaktadır. Özellikle ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencileri için müzik dersinin birçok işlevinden söz etmek mümkündür. Okul şarkıları ise müzik eğitiminin temel basamaklarından birisidir.İlköğretim çağındaki öğrencilere öğretilen okul şarkıları çeşitli açılardan öğrencilere uygun olmakla birlikte, farklı yönlerden öğrencilerin eğitimini de destekleyici nitelikte olmalıdır.Bu çalışmanın amacı; 2007- 2008 Eğitim- Öğretim yılında değişikliğe uğrayan ilköğretim okulları müzik dersi öğretim programı içerinde kullanılan okul şarkılarının incelenerek, öğrencilere çeşitli yönlerden uygun olup olmadığının saptamasına yöneliktir.Bu amaca uygun olarak tez kapsamında İlköğretim okulları müzik ders kitaplarında bulunan 6.,7, ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerine yönelik seçilmiş olan 30 adet okul şarkısı; konu yönünden, ritmik yönden, tonal yönden, form yönünden, ses sınırları bakımından, prozodi kuralı bakımından,sözlerinin güncelliği,şarkıların sözlerinin öğrencilerin dil gelişimlerine uygunluğu bakımından,öğrencilerin okul şarkılarına çalgılarıyla eşlik edip edememeleri ve son olarak okul şarkılarının değişen dünyaya uygunluğu bakımından incelenmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra Sakarya İli'nde görev yapmakta olan müzik öğretmenleri ile birebir görüşmeler yapılarak fikirleri alınmıştır ve öğretmenlere yönelik anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Ayrıca Sakarya İli'nde bulunan merkez okullardan 3 adet okul seçilerek öğrencilerle görüşmeler yapılmış ve öğrencilere yönelik de bir anket hazırlanarak uygulanmıştır.Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda elde edilen sonuç şudur;Okul şarkıları, ilköğretim okullarında müzik dersleri açısından fazlasıyla önemli bir yere sahiptir. Müzik öğretmenleri ve ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencileri birçok yönlerden okul şarkılarının uygun olarak seçilmediğini belirtmişlerdir. Okul şarkılarının incelenmesi sonucunda da seçilen okul şarkılarının öğrencilere uygun olduğu söylenememektedir. Ayrıca okul şarkıları öğretim açısından müzik öğretmenlerini de zorlayıcı niteliktedirler. Buna bağlı olarak İlköğretim ikinci kademe okul şarkılarının seçilirken öğrencileri çeşitli gelişim dönemlerini etkiledikleri düşünülerek, değişik yönlerden titizlikle incelenmesi gerektiği yargısına varılmıştır.Tezin okul şarkıları adına ileride yapılacak olan çalışmalar için yol gösterici olması en önemli amaçtır.

Musical education is of the great effectiveness in many features, almost in every period of mankind from his birth to his death. It is possible to mention about many functions of the musical lessons for the secoünd phase student in the primary schools.School songs are the basic steps in the musical education. However the school songs which are thought to the primary school students, these songs must be in high quality in supporting the students? education in different aspects.The aim of this study is to determine whether the songs are suitable for the students in various waysi by studying the school songs in thi school books for musics lessons in the primary shool which underwent great changes between 2007-2008 educational years in the frarme of the curriculum.30 school songs which are chosen in the frame of this thesis aiming at 6,7 and 8 th grade students in the primary schools, books of musics lessons have been studied in terms of theme, rhytm, tone, form, sound limitation, prozody rules, actual words, suitability of the song words for children, hormony with the musical instruments and the suitability of the songs in the changing world.Besides, many interviews and a face to face survey have been carried out with the musics teachers who live in Sakarya city and their ideas have been taken into consideration. Also, 3 of the schools in the center of Sakarya city were chosen and interviewed with the students and a survey has been carried out.The result of the studies which were implemented as follows:The school songs have the primary importance in the musics lessons in primary schools. Musics teachers and the second phase primary school students have stated that the school songs are not chosen properly for the students. As a result of the study of the school songs, it cannot be said that the chosen school songs are suitable for the primary school students.And olso the school songs are very hard for the musics teacher as well because of their quality in musical education. Due to the above mentioned facts; it has been judged that the school songs for the second phase students in the primary schools must be studied and chosen carefully in various aspects by thinking these school songs affect the growing periods of these children and the choice of the school songs must be taken into consideration in many aspects.The most important aim of this thesis is to show the ways for the studies of the school songs to be carried out in the future.
