Esed B. Furat'ın hayatı ve hadisçiliği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Mağrib'li alimlerden olan Esed b. Furât'ın hayatını ve Hadisilmindeki yerini incelemektir. Mağrib'de İslam tarihi ve kültürü açısından önemlibir birikim bulunmaktadır. Ancak bu konuda İslam dünyasında ve Türkiye'degerektiği kadar çalışma yapılamamış, bu coğrafyadaki ilim ve kültür zenginliğigerektiği kadar tanıtılamamıştır. Bu çalışmanın konusunun Esed b. Furat olarakseçilmesi; Esed b. Furât'ın Mağrib'de yetişen alimlerden birisi olması ve kendialanında önemli bir konuma sahip olmasıdır.Çalışmaya öncelikle Esed'in yaşadığı dönemin ilmî ve siyasî bakımdan geneldurumunun değerlendirilmesiyle başlanmıştır. Daha sonra Esed'in doğumundanitibaren hayatı, yetiştiği ilmî çevre, hocaları, öğrencileri, fıkhî görüşleri ve eserleritanıtılmıştır. Esed b. Furât ilmî kişiliğinin yanında siyasî yönü de olan bir alimdir.Kayrevan kadılığında bulunmuş, daha sonra fetih orduları komutanı olarakSicilya'ya gitmiş ve orada vefat etmiştir. Bu konuyla ilgili bilgilere de yer verilmişve Esed'in bu yönü de tanıtılmıştır. Kendisiyle ilgili rivayet edilen olaylardankişiliği hakkında bazı çıkarımlar yapılmıştır.Esed b. Furât'ın hayatıyla ilgili bilgiler araştırılırken kaynak olarak rical ve tabakateserleri kullanılmış, Mağrib'in ilmî ve siyasî tarihiyle ilgili eserlerden defaydalanılmıştır. Hayatı hakkında eserlerde çok geniş bilgiler bulunmamaktadır.Bunun sebebi erken dönemde yaşaması ve o dönemdeki Mağrib tarihiyle ilgiliçalışmaların yetersiz olması olarak görünmektedir. Esed'in tanıtılmasında ortayaçıkan eksiklerden biri de kendi eseri olan el- Esediyye'ye ilk eldenulaşılamamasıdır. Eseri üzerine yapılan çalışmalar eser hakkında bilgi verse de bubilgiler tatmin edici değildir.Yapılan araştırmalar neticesinde görülmüştür ki; Esed b. Furât Mağrib'de Malikîve Hanefî mezhebinin ilk temsilcilerinden olması sebebiyle önemli bir şahsiyettir.Malikî ve Hanefî mezhebinin görüşlerini bünyesinde toplayan ilk alim olmasıdikkat çekmektedir. İmam Malik'in Muvatta'ının Mağrib'de tanınıpyayılmasındaki en büyük pay Esed'e aittir. Bu bakımdan Mağrib'deki Hadis ilmiaçısından önemli bir konuma sahiptir.Anahtar kelimeler: Mağrib'de Hadis, el-Esediyye , Muvatta rivayeti.

The purpose of this study is that to investigate biography of Esed b. Furat who was afamous scholar in Magrib and also his contribution to the study of prophet?s tradition(Hadith). There are many crucial sources available in Magrib for History and Culture ofIslam. However, there has not been sufficient study carried out in this field neither inTurkey nor in other Islamic countries, therefore, richness of science and culture ofMagrib has not been promoted adequately. The main reasons of picking Esed b. Furat asa focus area in this study are that he was one of the scholars who were educated inMagrib and also he had a crucial role in his field of studyThis paper firstly investigates the science and political situation in general during theperiod of Esed?s life, then it is followed by an investigation which consists of his lifestarting from his birth, environment of science during the period of his education, hiseducators, his students, Islamic canon law (Fiqh) from his point of view and also hisacademic works. Some other facts have been discovered about personality of Furat afteranalysing the rumours about him. He was not only a scientist but also had an active rolein politics. Esed b. Furat had conducted his duty as a judge in Kayveran then have goneto Sicily as a commander in military conquest and he died there, this study covers deeperinvestigation on this topic and his abilities will be discussed further.Rical and Tabakat have been used as sources to investigate biography of Esed b. Furat inthis paper, scientific and political sources have also been used. Studies based on hisbiography carries a wide range of information about him, the reason for this is that he hadlived in early period and inadequate studies of history of Magrib have been carried outduring the same period. The reason of having problems during the investigation of Esed?slife is that being unable to get his publication of el-Essediye from first party. Eventhough, the studies carried out on his publication gives some information about thepublication itself, it is found to be it is unsatisfactoryAs consequence of the researches conducted, it has been seen that Esed b. Furat wasimportant personage as he was former representatives of Maliki and Hanefi Sects. It hasbeen noticed that he had inspired by Maliki and Hanefi sects. Esed played a crucial rolein distribution of the Muvatta which was authored by Imam-i Malik therefore he has animportant role in study of Prophet?s tradition (Hadith)Keywords: Prophet?s tradition (Hadith) in Magrib, el-Essediye, rumours about Muvatta.
