Through his research, with the process of change over the world, the improvements in the acts of labor unions in Turkey and all over the world, adopting the idea of being labor union, the identification of the relations of labor union-civil society and labor union-politics are aimed. To attain this aim, polls have been carried out with three educational syndicates in Adapazarı. Ninety people, who are members of Türk Eğitim Sen, Eğitim Sen and Eğitim Bir Sen, attained the poll. The outcomes of the polls after their having been assessed and interpreted have showed that syndicates have relations with the politics. This consequence shows that labor unions are no more civil-society unions. Day by day, a new educational labor unions is established and this supports the idea that the consciousness of the unity of the instructors is becoming weaker and the political partition among the instructors is increasing. Labor unions which came out as a result of the Industrial Revolution are any more adopted by officers besides the workers. Labor unions are now absorbed in politics instead of preserving the social, economical and cultural needs of their members. And this worsens the situation of syndicates whose most striking feature and biggest duty is to be a civil-society union.
