Sürdürülebilir kalkınma çerçevesinde işletmelerin sosyal sorumluluğu

Abstract

Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma kavramı yeni bir olgudur. Bu yaklasım kinci DünyaSavası'ndan günümüze kadar hakim olan ekonomik kalkınmanın hızlandırılması,issizligin önlenmesi ve enflasyonun kontrol altına alınması refah ölçütlerini dogalçevre, sosyal ve beseri kaynaklar ile degistirmektedir.Bu çalısmanın arastırma problemi, sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramına uluslararasısöylemlerde verilen önemin uygulamada ne ölçüde gerçeklestirildigi olarak ifadeedilebilir. Bu baglamda bu çalısmanın amaçlarını su sekilde ifade etmek mümkündür:a) Sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramı uluslararası platformda nasıl yer almıstır?Günümüze kadar uygulanan ekonomi politikaları yetersiz mi görülmüstür?Sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramına neden ihtiyaç duyulmustur?b) Sürdürülebilir kalkınma yaklasımı çerçevesinde isletmeler ne ölçüde sosyalsorumluluk üstlenmektedirler?Bu sorulara cevap aranırken, sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramının tanımı, tarihçesi,uluslarası platformdaki yeri ?arastırma yöntemi? olarak incelenmistir. Ayrıca,sürdürülebilir kalkınma yaklasımı çerçevesinde isletmelerin ne ölçüde sosyalsorumluluk üstlendikleri ve Dünyadan ve Türkiye'den örnekler verilerek ?örnek olay?olarak incelenmistir.Bu çerçevede yapılan çalısma sonucunda, sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramının 3 temelboyutu olan sosyal, ekonomik ve çevresel boyutu isletmelerin sosyal hedefleri arasındayer alması görüsüne ulasılmıstır.

The concept of Sustainable Development is a new fact. This approach changes theprosperity criterias which are dominated from the II. World War like hastening theeconomical development, preventing idleness and controling inflation with naturalenvironment, social and human resources.Research problem of this study can be declared is given importance to the concept ofsustainable development how realize practically. In this context, it is possible to expressthe aims of this study as below:a) How did the concept of sustainable development take place in the internationalplatform were the executed economical policies until today considered isufficent?Why the concept of sustainable development is needed?b) How much social responsibility take the enterprizes within the terms of sustainabledevelopment?By the time searching answers to this questions the definition, short history and theplace in international platform of the concept of sustainable development is examined asresearch method. Further more, how much social responsibility take the enterprizeswithin the terms of sustainable development is examined with case studies from Turkeyand the world.As a result of this study, attained vision is that the 3 main dimensions of the conceptsustainable development-social, economical and the enviromental dimensions is neededtu take place within the social targets of enterprizes.
