İnternet ve internet kafelerin ilk ve orta öğretim öğrencilerine etkileri (İstanbul örneği)

Abstract

Bilgi çagı olarak tanımlanan günümüzde internet, devrim olarak nitelendirilmektedir. Toplumsalhayatın tüm alanlarında etkilerini görmek mümkündür.nternet uygulamalarının yer almadıgı bir sektör düsünmek hemen hemen imkânsızdır. nternetsayesinde sınırlar ortadan kalkmakta ve bilginin özgürce paylasıldıgı yeni bir döneme dogrugidilmektedir. nternet toplum hayatının her alanına girmesi ile birlikte, bazı degisimyansımalarını beraberinde getirmistir. nternet kafeler de bunlardan biridir.Bu tezde stanbul'da yasayan ve internet kafeleri kullanan ilk ve orta ögretim ögrencilerinin,interneti ve internet kafeleri nasıl algıladıkları, ne amaçla kullandıkları ve bu mekânların onlarüzerindeki etkileri ortaya konmaya çalısılmıstır.Ögrencilerin, bilgi ve teknoloji okuryazarlıgını artırması ve bilgi çagına adaptasyonda gereklidonanıma sahip olmasını saglamada internet kafeler de önem tasıyan yerler olmaktadır. nternetkafelerin bu potansiyelini ortaya koymak bu tezin amaçlarındandır.Öncelikle çalısmada literatür taraması yapılmıs daha sonra, internet kafelerde dogal gözlemgerçeklestirilmis, son olarak da internet kafe kullanıcısı olan ögrencilerle yüz yüze anketuygunlanmıstır.Keywords : Sosyoloji, nternet, Bilisim, nternet Kafe, Ögrenci.

In the day of information era internet has characterized as a reform. It is easy to see effects ofinternet in all fields of the social life.It is imposibble to think a sector which does not use the posibilities created by means of internet.Borders are demolished and it is taken steps into an era in which them information. t is a fact thatinternet has started to take place in every part of social life. This brings some changes in our lifesand internet cafes are one of those changes.The aim of this thesis is to point out how the primary and secondary school students living instanbul to perceive both internet and internet cafes, how to use them and to see the effects of thoseplaces on them.Internet cafes have great importance on students access of information and knowledge oftechnology and provide them equipments that are required for adaptation to the information era. Topoint out the potential power of internet cafes is one of the aims of this thesis.First of all, the studies made have been searched thoroughly in this study. Secondly, that theobservations have been realized in internet cafes.
