Tanzimat’tan II. Meşrutiyet’e Türk şiirinde ateş imgesi

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmamızda 1860- 1908 arası yılları kapsayan Tanzimat'tan II. Meşrutiyet'e kadar Türk şiirinde ateş imgesinin nasıl kullanıldığını tartışacağız. Giriş bölümünde çalışmanın önemi, amacı ve yöntemine değinilmiştir. Birinci bölümde ateşin; dini, mitolojik, felsefi ve psikanalitik arka planında ateşin ne gibi anlam, inanç ve değerlerin sembolik ifadesine dönüştüğünü değerlendireceğiz. İkinci bölümde Tanzimat ile birlikte Batılı fikir ve düşüncelerin Türk şiirine nasıl iktibas edildiğini, ateş imgesinin dini, mitolojik, felsefi ve psikanalitik arka planındaki anlamlarını göz önünde bulundurarak ele alacağız. Bu bağlamda özellikle akıl, hürriyet, hamiyet, hayal kurma, düşleme gibi kavramların ateş imgesi çerçevesinde dönem şairlerince nasıl algılanıp değerlendirildiğini göstermeye çalışacağız. Ayrıca yine ateş imgesinden hareketle Tanzimat sonrası Türk şiiri üzerinde geleneğin etkisini özetlemeye çalışacağız. Klasik edebiyatımızda da çok sık kullanılan ateş imgesinin; Tanzimat sonrası dönemde aşk ve kutsallık bağlamında klasik edebiyatın geleneksel kullanımlarının bir devam şeklinde yer aldığını kısaca göstermeye çalışacağız. Sonuç bölümünde ise elde edilen verilerin genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılarak tez tamamlanacaktır.

In this thesis, we argue that how fire image was concerned in Turkish poetry between the periods from Reformation to Constitutional Monarchy II. The importance, aim, and methods of the thesis are given in introduction. In the first section of the thesis we discuss how fire is becoming a symbolic term of some meanings, beliefs, and values from the perspective of the mythological, religious, philosophical and psychoanalytical background of fire. In the second section of the thesis, we evaluate some western ideas, thoughts and concepts by the light of background of fire, which were becoming part of poetry during this period. In this respect, we demonstrate that how poets evaluate and construe those concepts like reason, freedom, zeal for patriotism, imagining etc. within the framework of fire image. Furthermore, we summary the influence of tradition over this period's poetry as part of fire image. As being frequently used imagery during Classical period of Turkish poetry, fire image show us the influence of tradition in respect of love and sacredness. In conclusion, we summarize our critical points and highlight with a general assessment.
