Hattat Hasan Rıza Efendi’nin hayatı ve eserleri

Abstract

Hasan Rıza Efendi, hat sanatı tarihinde, Şeyh Hamdullah ile zuhur etmeye başlayan Osmanlı hat mektepleri arasında, XIX. yüzyıla gelindiğinde öne çıkan Kadıasker Mustafa İzzet Efendi mektebinin başlıca temsilcilerinden ve son dönem Osmanlı hat sanatı denince ilk hatırlanacak olan isimlerden biridir. Bu çalışmada, Hasan Rıza Efendi'nin hayatı ve eserleri, hat sanatı çerçevesinde ele alınıp, onun hat sanatındaki yeri ve önemi değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu yapılırken, imkanlar ve şartlar dahilinde, tespit edilen ve katkıları olabilecek tüm kurum, şahıs ve yayınlara başvurulmuştur. Çalışma sürecinde, Hasan Rıza Efendi'nin günümüze yakın bir asırda yaşamış olmasının, tespit edilen eser sayısının fazla olmasını sağlamıştır. Bununla birlikte Rıza Efendi'nin, A. Süheyl Ünver gibi kültür ve medeniyet muhafızı bir kimliğin yakın akrabası olması ve onun tuttuğu notlar sayesinde, hakkında başka bir hattata nasip olmayacak özellikte detay sayılabilecek bilgilere ulaşmak mümkün olmuştur. Başvurulan kaynaklardan elde edilen tüm verilerin ele alınıp değerlendirilmesi neticesinde, çok yönlü kişisel özellikleri de olan Rıza Efendi'nin, hat sanatının hemen hemen tüm kullanım sahalarında verdiği eserler ve bilhassa Mushaf kitabetindeki yeri bakımından, hat sanatı tarihinde örnek bir sanatkâr olarak öneminin büyük olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Hasan Rıza Efendi, one of the first names to be remembered in the last period of Ottoman calligraphy art, is one of the main representatives of the school of Kadıasker Mustafa Izzet Efendi which became prominent during the XIX century after the appearance of the Ottoman calligrafhy establisment thanks to Sheikh Hamdullah. In this study, Hasan Riza Efendi's life and works were studied within the framework of art of calligraphy to reveal its place and importance in calligraphy. All related institutions, individuals and publications were tried to be identified and investigated to get the best effort possible to obtain the contributions of all of them to this study. The fact that Hasan Rıza Efendi lived during the near century allowed us to have numerous works and books to be available for the study. Being close relative of A.Suheyl Unver, one of the main actors in the field of Ottoman culture and civilisation, provided a huge resource opportunity to get the detailed information about Rıza Efendi thanks to the notes taken by Suheyl Unver. It has been understood through the evaluation of all the data obtained from the references of this study that Rıza Efendi, who has versatile personalities, has great importance as a model bearer in the history of calligraphy in terms of the works who produced in almost all the fields of calligraphy especially with respect to Mushaf.
