Nisa suresinin İngilizce, Almanca ve Türkçe çevirilerinin sosyolojik ve kültürel açıdan incelenmesi

Abstract

Tarih boyunca tüm Kutsal Kitapların (Eski Ahit (Tevrat ve Zebur), Yeni Ahit (İncil), Kur'an-ı Kerim) çevrilmesi ve yorumlanması meselesi bilimsel temelli ve disiplinlerarası çalışmaların konusu olmuştur. Özellikle çeviribilim, yorumbilim (hermeneutik) ve tefsir bilim disiplinleri tüm Kutsal Kitapların başka dillere aktarılmasına ve anlaşılmasına olanak sağlamışlardır. Tezin konusu olarak kadınları ilgilendiren Nisa suresindeki ayetler ve bazı hususlardaki diğer Kur'an ayetlerinin İngilizce, Almanca ve Türkçe çevirileri incelenerek ayetlerin Kur'an bağlamındaki (Kontext) çevirilerine yer verilmiştir. Tarihte yapılmış Kutsal Kitap çeviri yaklaşımlardan ve yorumbilimsel yaklaşımlardan bahsedilerek tezin bilimsel-kuramsal alt yapısı güçlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Kur'an'ın kendi bütünlüğünde anlaşılması ve yorumlanmasının önemi üzerinde durulup metin ve yorum diyalektiğinde yanlış anlama ve aşırı yorumların var olabileceği gerçeğinden bahsedilerek ayetlerin yorumlanmasında öznel yorumların yanlış yoruma sebep olabileceğine dikkat çekilmiştir. Kur'an çevirmenlerinin ya da müfessirlerinin seçimlerini etkileyen sosyo-kültürel ve ideolojik nedenlere çeviri sosyolojisi temelli bir yaklaşımla değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Böylece Kur'an'ın doğru anlama çabalarındaki engeller bilimsel temelli bir açıklamayla ortaya koyulmuş ve Kur'an çevirilerine disiplinlerarası özgün bir bakış açısı geliştirilmiştir. Tezin odak noktası çeviribilimsel teorilerden yola çıkarak Kutsal Kitap çevirileri ve yorumları üzerinden Kur'an-ı Kerim'in doğru anlaşılmasına ve yorumlanmasına fırsat sağlayacak modern bir düşünce atmosferi sağlamaktır. Dolayısıyla birincil amaç, Kur'an-ı Kerim'in doğru anlaşılması, çevrilmesi ve yorumlanmasıdır. Disiplinlerarası bir çalışma olarak çeviribilimin, yorumbilimin ve tefsir bilimin İslam dininin esas kaynağı olan Kur'an-ı Kerim'in doğru anlaşılmasında sağlayacağı yararları bilimsel açıdan ortaya koymak hedeflenmektedir. Bunun yanı sıra Yaratıcının kadına verdiği gerçek hak ve özgürlükleri akademik çerçevede sunabilmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Kuran'daki doktrinler ve ilkeler doğrultusunda Nisa (Kadınlar) suresinin İngilizce, Almanca ve Türkçe çevirileri, çeviri sosyolojisi açısından incelenmiştir ve ayetlerin kadının sosyal yaşamına etkilerine örnekler verilmiştir. Tarih boyunca bir metin olarak Kur'an, bilimsel ve ilimsel araştırmaların alanına dâhil edilmiş ve edilecektir. Kur'an sadece tek bir bilimsel alanın da konusu değildir. Müslüman olsun ya da olmasın (agnostik, ateist, monoteist, politeist, deist ya da panteist) herkesin bilimsel tarafsızlık (objectivity) ile Kur'an'a yaklaşması gerekmektedir. Ancak bu şekilde Kur'an ilimlerinin gelişmesine katkı sağlanabilir.

Throughout history, the issue of translation and interpretation of all the Holy Books (The Old Testament (Torah and Psalms), The New Testament (Bible), The Qur'an) has been the subject of scientific and interdisciplinary studies. In particular, the disciplines of the Translation Studies, Hermeneutics and the Science of Tafsir have enabled all the Holy Books to be transferred and understood in other languages. As the subject of the thesis, English, German and Turkish translations of the verses about women in Surah an-Nisa and the other related Qur'an verses have been examined and given the meanings in the context of the Qur'an. It has been tried to strengthen the scientific-theoretical background of the thesis by mentioning the biblical translation approaches and the scientific approaches. It is emphasized that the importance of understanding and interpreting the Qur'an in its totality and the fact that there may be misunderstanding and excessive interpretations in the dialectic of the text and interpretations, and the subjective interpretations may cause misinterpretation during interpreting of the verses. The socio-cultural and ideological reasons that affect the choices of Qur'an translators or interpreters have been evaluated with an approach based on sociology of translation. Thus, the obstacles to the Qur'an's correct understanding efforts have been revealed with a scientific basis and an interdisciplinary original perspective has been developed in the Qur'an translations. The main focus of the thesis is theories of the Bible translations and interpretations based on the Translation Studies. Through these theories, it is aimed to provide a modern atmosphere of thought that will allow the Qur'an to be interpreted and understood correctly. Therefore, the primary purpose is to provide to understand, translate and interpret the Holy Qur'an correctly. As an interdisciplinary study, it is aimed to reveal the benefits of the theories of the Translation Studies, Hermeneutics and the Science of Tafsir for the correct understanding of the Holy Qur'an which is the main source of Islamic religion. Besides, it is prepared to present the rights and freedoms that the Creator gives to women in the academic framework. In line with the doctrines and principles in the Qur'an, the English, German and Turkish translations of Surah an-Nisa (Women) have been examined in terms of Sociology of the Translation and examples of the effects of the verses' translations on the social life of women have been given. The Qur'an as a text throughout history has been and will be included in the field of scientific researches. The Qur'an is not only the subject of the one scientific field. Whether Muslim or not (agnostic, atheist, monotheist, polytheist, deist or pantheist), everyone must approach the Qur'an with a scientific objectivity. Only in this way can the Qur'anic acknowledges and sciences developed.
