Önceleri kaliteyi sağlama, finalde yapılması gereken bir inceleme olarak ele alınmış ve üretim işleminin sonunda hatalı ürünlerin kalite denetçisi tarafından geri gönderilmesi şeklinde uygulanmıştır. Ancak bu sistem, ürünün mamul halde incelenmesini gerekli kıldığından, fiyatta aşın yükselmelere neden olmakta ve firma maliyetlerini arttırmaktadır. Kalite güvencesi, müşterinin hatalı hiçbir ürün almamasını garanti etmek üzerine eğilir. Fakat bu ürün kontrolü ile değil, proses kontrolü yoluyla yapılır. Bu şekilde, üretim hataları veya ilgili personel tarafından yapılan hatalar gibi hatanın kaynağı tespit edilebilmekte ve sonuç olarak idare bu durumu gidermek için gerekli önlemleri alabilmektedir. Kalite güvencesini bilen bir firma tipik olarak tüm imalat hattı boyunca prosesi düzenlemek üzere, veri toplamak için istatistiksel prosedürleri kullanacak böylece, makine aşınması, operatör farklılıkları, hazırlık değişimleri, çevresel faktörler v.b. değişkenlerin etkilerini minimum yapacaktır. Kalite bilinci; müşteri isteklerinin tanımlanmasından sonra, başlangıçta ürün fikri ile başlamalıdır. Bu bilinçli kalite oluşturma gayreti; geliştirme ve üretimin birçok safhasında devam etmeli ve ürünün alıcıya teslimine kadar sürmelidir. Sonuncu faaliyetle alıcıdan uygun geri bildirim elde edilir. Muayene yoluyla değil, sistem yoluyla kalite güvence sağlanır. Kalite güvence bilişim sistemi, böyle bir sistem içinde, tüm düzeylerde karar vericilere yardımcı olmak amacıyla, kalite ile ilgili bilgilerin toplanması, depolanması, analiz edilmesi ve raporlanmasını organize eden bir sistemdir. Bu çalışma Otomotiv Yan Sanayisinde faaliyet gösteren Yazar İmalat San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. için spesifik bir kalite güvence bilişim sisteminin tasarım ve uygulaması için hazırlanmıştır. Kalite güvence bilişim sistemi, imalat yönetim sistemi ile iç içe olduğundan, imalat yönetim sisteminin, kalite güvence bilişim sistemine gerekli olan verileri sağlayacak şekilde tasarlanması gerekir. İmalat yönetim sistemi aracılığıyla gerekli verileri toplama işleminin gerçek zamanlı yapılması; bilgilerin hızlı ve doğru biçimde toplanıp, analiz edilmesini sağlayacaktır. Bu bilgiler göz önüne alınarak hazırlanan kalite güvence bilişim sistemi; Giriş Kontrol, Proses Kontrol, Son Kontrol, Düzeltici/Önleyici Faaliyet ve Mühendislik Değişiklikleri Kontrol gibi alt modüllerden oluşmaktadır.
A QUALITY ASSURANCE INFORMATION SYSTEM INTEGRATED WITH MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOTIVE SUBCONTRACTORS SUMMARY Keywords: Quality Management System, Quality Assurance Information System, Manufacturing Management System and Integration of Quality Assurance Information System In the past, achieving quality was considered as inspection in the final stage and in application fault product was send back by quality inspector at the end of production process. However this system, increased costs and caused high prices because the inspection was done after product was produced. Quality assurance focuses on guaranteeing that the customer receives no defective product, but achieves this by process control instead of product control. This way, the source of the defect, like production or personnel fault, can be identified and management can take necessary precautions to avoid this condition. A company who knows quality assurance will use statistical procedures to collect data instead of typically aligning the process along the product line, thus will minimize the effect of variables like machine warring, operator changes, preparation changes and environmental factors. The consciousness of quality should be present starting from the creation of product specifications after the identification of customer requirements. These conscious efforts of achieving quality should continued in development and production stages until the product is delivered to the customer. Appropriate feedback is taken from the customer during the final activity. Quality assurance is achieved by the system, not by inspection. Quality assurance information system organizes the gathering of data about quality, storage, analysis and reporting to help decision makers at all levels in a quality assurance system. This work has been prepared for Yazar Manufacturing Inc. which is a subcontractor in the automotive industry as the design and application of a specific quality assurance information system for the company. A quality assurance information system in a manufacturing company is integrated with the manufacturing management system. The manufacturing management system, thus should be designed to provide the necessary data to the quality assurance information system. Real time data acquisition with the manufacturing management system will ensure fast and accurate gathering and analysis of information. The quality assurance information system, prepared using this information, is composed of sub modules, Receiving Inspection(Control), Process Control(In-Process Ins.), Final Control(Ins.), Corrective / Preventive Actions, Engineering Change Control.
