Örgün Eğitimle Birlikte Hafızlık Projesinin Veli Görüşlerine Göre Değerlendirilmesi = Evaluation of Memorization along with Formal Education Project According to Parents' Opinions

Abstract

Bu çalışma Örgün Eğitimle Birlikte Hafızlık Projesinin öğrenci velileri gözünden incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Bu kapsamda öncelikle hafızlık eğitiminin kavramsal çerçevesi bağlamında; hafızlık eğitiminin ortaya çıkışı, başlangıcından bugüne tarihi seyri, günümüzde Türkiye'de ve dünyada uygulama biçimlerine değinilmiştir. Sonrasında; 2014 yılından itibaren eğitim vermeye başlayan Örgün Eğitimle Birlikte Hafızlık Projesinin uygulama ve işleyişi aktarılarak klasik hafızlık eğitimi ile mukayese edilmiştir. Bulgular bölümünde ise öğrenci velileri ile yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgular ışığında Örgün Eğitimle Birlikte Hafızlık Projesi değerlendirilmiştir. Konu ile ilgili çalışmalara bakıldığında; müstakil olarak öğrenci velileri ile yapılan bir çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Bu nedenle öğrenci velileri ile ilgili bir çalışma yapılmasına karar verilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini; Örgün Eğitimle Birlikte Hafızlık Projesinde eğitim gören ya da mezun olan öğrencilerin velileri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubunu ise kolay erişilebilir olması sebebiyle Sakarya ve Düzce'deki Hafız İmam Hatip Ortaokullarında (Hafız İHO) çocukları hafızlık yapan ya da yapmış olan 34 veli oluşturmaktadır. Velilerin belirlenmesinde amaçlı örneklem tekniklerinden maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanması için görüşme formu, verilerin analizinde ise betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgular neticesinde, öğrencilerin Örgün Eğitimle Birlikte Hafızlık Projesinde eğitim görmesinin tüm aile bireyleri üzerinde olumlu ve olumsuz etkilerinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Olumlu etkileri özetle; hafızlık yapmanın zihinsel gelişime katkısı, okul kalitesinin ve hafızlığın akademik başarıya etkileri, hafız olmanın aile ve öğrenciye kattığı manevi değerler şeklindedir. Olumsuz etkileri ise; sosyal hayatın kısıtlanması, ders-ödev yükünün öğrenci ve aile üzerindeki olumsuz etkileri şeklindedir. Bunun dışında çalışmada; ebeveynlerin bu süreçte yaşadığı zorluklara, nitelikli ders çalışma ortamının nasıl olması gerektiğine ve velilerin ideal hafızlık yaşı ve ideal hafızlık eğitimi modeli hakkındaki düşüncelerine yer verilmiştir.

This study aims to examine the Hifz along with Formal Education Project from the perspective of students' parents. In this context, first of all, in the context of the conceptual framework of hifz education; The emergence of hifz education, its historical course from its beginning to today, and its application forms in Turkey and the world are presented. After that; the application and functioning of the Hifz along with Formal Education Project, which started in 2014, was explained and compared with the classical hifz education. In the findings section, the Hifz along with Formal Education Project was evaluated in the light of the findings obtained from the interviews with the students' parents. When we look at the studies on the subject; there is no exclusive study conducted with students' parents. For this reason, it was decided to conduct a study on students' parents. In the research, case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, was applied. The universe of the research consists of parents whose children are studying in or have graduated from the Project. The study group consists of 34 parents whose children are studying in or have graduated from Hifz Imam and Preacher Schools in Sakarya and Düzce due to their easy accessibility. Maximum variation sampling, one of the purposeful sampling techniques, was used to determine the parents. An interview form was used to collect the data, and descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result of the findings obtained from the interviews, it was concluded that the students' education in the Hifz Project had positive and negative effects on all family members. To summarize the positive effects; the contribution of memorization to mental development, the effects of school quality and memorization on academic success, and the spiritual values that memorization brings to the family and the student. Negative effects are restriction of social life and negative effects of course-homework load on students and families. Apart from this, in the study; the difficulties experienced by parents in this process, what a qualified study environment should be like, and parents' thoughts about the ideal memorization age and the ideal memorization education model are included.
