Abstract

Bu tez, anlatımlı dansların estetik algı ve göstergebilimsel kurgu üzerinden incelenmesini konu alır. Özellikle, Türk kültürüne özgü geleneksel dansların, sahne sanatları içindeki yerinin ve bu dansların kültürel iletişimi nasıl şekillendirdiğinin derinlemesine bir analizini sunar. Çalışma, Dumlupınar Meydan Muharebesi'nin anlatıldığı bir sahne performansı örneği üzerinden, bu dansların tarihsel ve kültürel bağlamlarını, sembol ve metafor kullanımlarını ve seyirci üzerindeki duygusal etkilerini ele alır. Tezde, geleneksel dansların ve tiyatronun birleştiği noktalarda, estetik algının nasıl zenginleştirildiği ve izleyici ile nasıl güçlü bir bağ kurulduğu incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, modern sahneleme teknikleri ile geleneksel unsurların entegrasyonunun, performansın görsel ve duygusal etkinliğini nasıl artırdığı üzerinde durulmuştur. Tez, sinematografik unsurların kullanımıyla dans tiyatrosunun anlatım gücünü nasıl artırdığına dair detaylı bir değerlendirme yapar. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma, anlatımlı geleneksel dansların, kültürel mirasın korunması ve geleceğe taşınması açısından ne denli önemli bir rol üstlendiğini ve modern sahne sanatları içinde nasıl yeniden canlandırılabileceğini ortaya koymaktadır. Geleneksel dansların çağdaş dünya içinde nasıl bir anlam ve yer bulduğunu ve sanatsal ifade biçimleri olarak nasıl evrildiğini ele alarak, kültürel ve estetik açıdan zengin bir perspektif sunar.

This thesis focuses on the examination of narrative traditional dance through the lens of aesthetic perception and semiotic construction. Specifically, it presents an in-depth analysis of traditional dances unique to Turkish culture, exploring their place within the performing arts and how these dances shape cultural communication. The study uses a stage performance example depicting the Dumlupınar Battle to analyze the historical and cultural contexts of these dances, their use of symbols and metaphors, and their emotional impact on the audience. The thesis investigates how aesthetic perception is enriched and how a strong connection with the audience is established at the intersection of traditional dance and theater. It also emphasizes how the integration of modern staging techniques with traditional elements enhances the visual and emotional effectiveness of the performance. The thesis provides a detailed assessment of how the use of cinematographic elements increases the narrative power of dance theater. In conclusion, this study highlights the critical role of narrative traditional dances in preserving and transmitting cultural heritage and how they can be revitalized within modern performing arts. By examining how traditional dances find meaning and place in the contemporary world and how they have evolved as artistic expressions, the thesis offers a rich cultural and aesthetic perspective.
