Hermann Hesse'nin "Bozkırkurdu" adlı modern eseri ve Elfriede Jelinek'in "Piyanist" adlı postmodern eserinin psikanalitik incelemesi ve farklılıkları = Psychoanalytic analysis and differences of Hermann Hesse's modern novel "The Steppenwolf" and Elfriede Jelinek's postmodern novel "The Pianist"

Abstract

Hermann Hesse'nin Bozkırkurdu Adlı Modern Eseri Ve Elfriede Jelinek'in Piyanist Adlı Postmodern Eserinin Psikanalitik İncelemesi Ve Farklılıkları adlı bu çalışmada, "Bozkırkurdu" ve "Piyanist" adlı romanlar üzerine psikanaliz tekniği ile incelemeler yapılmıştır. İki edebi eser de, kaleme alındıkları dönem itibari ile farklılık gösterdiğinden, modern ve postmodern dönemlere değinilmiştir. Bu dönemlere ilişkin, eserler üzerinde analiz yapılmıştır. İnceleme kısmına geçmeden önce, psikanaliz ve edebiyat ilişkisi başlığı altında; psikanalizin çıkış noktasına, edebiyat ile ilişkisine, günümüzdeki konumuna ve psikanalizin ortaya çıkışından gelişimine değin bu kavrama yön vermiş olan, başta Sigmund Freud olmak üzere, Carl Gustav Jung ve Jacques Lacan gibi isimlere yer verilmiştir. Hermann Hesse ve modernizmin mercek altına alındığı bölümde, Hesse'nin hayatına yer verilmiştir. Takip eden bölümde, modernizm ve edebiyat ilişkisi incelenmiş, daha sonra "Bozkırkurdu" adlı romanın olay örgüsü aktarılarak, roman üzerinde modernizmin edebi özellikleri tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra, eser üzerine psikanaliz yöntemi ile incelemeler yapılmıştır. Son bölümde ise Elfriede Jelinek'in hayatına yer verilip, postmodernizm ve edebiyat ilişkisi sunulmuştur. Ardından, çalışmaya konu olan "Piyanist" adlı romanın olay örgüsü aktarılmıştır. Sonrasında eser üzrinde etkili olan postmodernizmin edebi etkilerine yer verilmiştir. Ardından konu olan roman psikanaliz tekniği ile incelenmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde ise elde edilen bulgular eşliğinde, bu çalışmanın hipotezini oluşturan soruların cevaplarına değinilerek, "Bozkırkurdu" ve "Piyanist" romanları arasında gözlemlenen farklılıklara yer verilmiştir.

In this study titled "Psychoanalytic Analysis and Differences of Hermann Hesse's Modern Novel "The Steppenwolf" and Elfriede Jelinek's Postmodern Novel "The Pianist" the novels "The Steppenwolf" and "The Pianist" were analysed with the technique of psychoanalysis. Since both literary works differ in terms of the period in which they were written, modern and postmodern periods were mentioned. These periods were analysed on the works. Before moving on to the analysis part, under the title of the relationship between psychoanalysis and literature; the starting point of psychoanalysis, its relationship with literature, its current position and the names such as Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung and Jacques Lacan, who have shaped this concept from the emergence of psychoanalysis to its development, are given. In the section on Hermann Hesse and modernism, Hesse's life is analysed. In the following section, the relationship between modernism and literature is analysed, then the plot of the novel "The Steppenwolf" is transferred and the literary features of modernism are determined on the novel. Afterwards, the work was analysed with the method of psychoanalysis. In the last part, the life of Elfriede Jelinek is given and the relationship between postmodernism and literature is presented. Then, the plot of the novel "The Pianist", which is the subject of the study, is presented. Afterwards, the literary effects of postmodernism, which is effective on the work, are given. Then the novel was analysed with psychoanalysis technique. In the conclusion section, the answers to the questions that form the hypothesis of this study are mentioned in the light of the findings obtained, and the differences observed between the novels " The Steppenwolf" and "The Pianist" are given.
