Ulaşım sorunlarını (özel araç sayısındaki artışa bağlı trafik sıkışıklığı, hava kirliliği vb.) çözmek ve insanların günlük faaliyetlerini yapmalarını kolaylaştırmak için yeterli ve iyi hizmet kalitesine sahip bir toplum taşıma sistemi oluşturmak, önemli çözüm önerileri arasındadır. Yüksek performanslı bir toplum ulaşım hizmeti sağlamanın uygun maliyetli bir yolu Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) sistemleridir. Endonezya'daki diğer gelişmekte olan şehirler gibi, Aceh Eyaletinin başkenti olan Banda Aceh şehri'nde Trans Koetaradja adı altında BRT-Lite sistemli bir toplum taşıma sistemi işletilmektedir. Bununla beraber, mevcut durumda Trans Koetaradja'nın entegre bir besleyici toplum taşıma sistemi de bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Trans Koetaradja otobüslerinin yük faktörünü en üst düzeye çıkarmak için önerilen bir besleyici sistem planlanması ile ilgili olarak, Banda Aceh şehri'ndeki besleyici toplum taşıma sistemine ait potansiyel talebi ortaya koyacak bir analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca, mod seçimindeki elastikiyetin ve değişikliklerin incelenmesi, araştırma alanında ihtiyaç duyulan besleyici toplum taşıma araç sayılarının ve türlerinin belirlenmesi de çalışma alanına dahil edilmiştir.Bu çalışmada kullanılan veriler birincil ve ikincil olmak üzere iki alana ayrılmıştır. Birincil veriler, Banda Aceh şehrinde besleyici toplum taşıma sistemine ait potansiyel talebin belirlenmesi amacıyla Google Form yardımıyla yapılan çevrimiçi bir anketten elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada kullanılan ikincil veriler, Banda Aceh Merkezi İstatistik Ajansı'ndan alınan genel ve yaş grubu başına nüfus verileri ile Aceh Finansal Yönetim Ajansı'ndan alınan özel araç sahipliği verileridir. Toplanan veriler, 2002 yılında Endonezya Ulaştırma Bakanlığı'nın "Kentsel Alanlarda Toplum Yolcu Taşımacılığının Sabit ve Düzenli Yollarda Uygulanmasına İlişkin Teknik Kılavuz"`u kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın analitik bulgularına göre, planlanan güzergâhlarda yani Kuta Alam ve Syiah mahallelerinde besleyici toplum taşıma talebini karşılamak üzere kullanılması gereken günlük asgari araç sayısının, klavuzda önerilen, R = 20 araç/gün, araç sayısından fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. 2019'da Kuta Alam mahallesindeki besleyici toplum taşıma araçlarına olan talep günlük 27 küçük otobüs iken, Syiah Kuala mahallesinde bu rakam 29`a kadar yükselmiştir. 2024 plan yılında ise, ihtiyaç duyulacak küçük otobüs sayısının Kuta Alam mahallesinde 45, Syiah Kuala mahallesinde 43 rakamına ulaşacak olması, besleyici hatların oldukça fizıbıl hatlar olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
One solution to solve transportation related problems (such as increasing the number of private vehicles, congestion, air pollution, etc.) and making it easier for people to carry out their daily activities can be obtained by providing a public transportation system having adequate and satisfactory service quality. One of the public transposition systems that can be a cost-effective way to provide a high-performance transport service is BRT. Like other developing cities in Indonesia, Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh Province, has also provided a public transportation system in the form of BRT-Lite under the name Trans Koetaradja. However, Trans Koetaradja currently does not have an integrated feeder transportation system. In this study, an analysis of the potential demand for feeder transportation in the city of Banda Aceh was carried out so that a feeder sistem could be planned to maximize the load factor of Trans Koetaradja buses. It was also carried out to analyse the response and changes in mode selection and to determine the number and type of feeder transport vehicles needed in the research area. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The primary data were obtained from an online survey conducted through the help of Google Form, with the aim of knowing the potential demand for feeder bus passengers in the city of Banda Aceh. The secondary data used in this thesis are related to the population of the study area. With that regard, while the data related with the number of population per age group obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Banda Aceh, the private vehicle ownership data were acquired from the Aceh Financial Management Agency. The collected data was analyzed using the Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Public Transport in Urban Areas in Permanent and Regular Routes, Ministry of Transportation in 2002. According to the analytical outcomes of the study, it was found that the required number of vehicles for feeder public transportatin on the planned route, namely for Kuta Alam and Syiah sub-districts, is more than the minimum number reuired by the technical guidelines mentined above, per day (R = 20 units/day). In 2019, while the demand for feeder public transport in Kuta Alam sub-district was 27 small buses, in the Syiah Kuala sub-district it was as many as 29 small buses. Meanwhile, in the 2024 plan year, the number of small buses needed in Kuta Alam sub-district will be 45 small buses. In Syiah Kuala sub-district, on the other hand, there will be a need of 43 small buses. Hence, it can be concluded that these routes are quite feasible for the operation.
