ÖZET Bu çalışmada karma kirişlerin negatif momentler etkisinde karma kirişin bu durumdaki yapısal davranışı incelenmiştir. Karma kiriş betonarme plağı negatif moment bölgesinde çekme elemanı olarak çalışacağından, plak yüzeyine betonun karşılayamayacağı çekme kuvvetleri karşılanması gerekmektedir. Buna göre normal çelik kirişlerden farklı olarak farklı elastik durum gösteren iki ayrı yapı malzemesinden oluşan karma kirişlerin bu tesirlerini karşılamak için kiriş kesitinde güçlendirmeye gidilmiştir. Karma kiriş kesiti negatif moment oluşan kesit kısmında çelik levhalarla güçlendirilmiştir. Bu levhalar belli boyutlarda hazırlanarak beton plağın yüzeyine iki bileşenli bir epoksi yapıştırıcısıyla birleştirilmiş ve davranışı araştırılmıştır. Çelik levhalar, yüklerini aktarımını sağlayan ve çelik profil ve beton plaktan oluşan karma taşıyıcı kirişin yükler altındaki yapısal davranışı, moment ve kayma gerilmesi kapasiteleri ele alınmıştır. Karma kirişin bileşik kesit olarak deformasyon analizleri karşılaştırmalı olarak araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca farklı kesit durumlarında elde edilen sonuçlar incelenmiş ve tasarım için gerekecek parametreler ve sınırlamalar irdelenmiştir. Karma kirişler sanayileşmeyle yaygınlaşan yapı elemanları olduğu için hızlı bir tasarım sürecinde başvurulmak üzere hazırlanan kapasite ve deformasyon diyagramları oluşturulmuştur.
ABSTRACT In this study the structural behaviour of composite beams subjected to negative moments was analysed. Because the reinforced concrete composite beam slab acts as a tension member within the negative moment region, the concrete on the slab surface must also be made to meet these tensile forces. When compared to steel beams, composite beams comprise two different materials with differing elastic characteristics. In order to withstand the tensile forces, the composite beams must be reinforced. In this thesis the negative moment section of the composite beam was reinforced with steel plates. These plates, of predetermined lengths, were sealed onto the concrete slab surface using a two component epoxy adhesive. Under loading, the distribution of loads by the steel plates, and the moment, shear stress capacities and structural behaviour of the steel profile-concrete slab composite beam was observed. Deformation properties of the composite beam's joined section characteristic was also analysed. Furthermore, the required parameters and limitations of different composite beam section designs were investigated through obtained calculated results. Because of the widespread use of composite beams in industrialisation, the formation of capacity and deformation diagrams were prepared for the assistance in quick design.
