ÖZET Yapı elemanlarının temelini teşkil eden betonun kalitesini arttırmak için çeşitli çalışmalar yapılmaktadır. Bu amaçla akışkanlaştıncı katkı maddelerinin su/çimento oranı ve beton performansına etkileri bu tez çalışmasında araştırılmıştır. Konu ile ilgili olarak özel bir laboratuarda çeşitli akışkanlaştıncı katkılar kullanılarak 4 grup deney yapılmıştır. Bunlardan ilk grupta ( A Grubu ) aynı katkıdan değişik oranlarda 5 seri beton numunesi elde edilmiş, bu numuneler kırılarak basınç dayanımları arasındaki ilişki tespit edilmiştir. İkinci ( B Grubu ) ve üçüncü ( C Grubu ) grup deneylerde aynı firmaya ait değişik akışkanlaştıncılık özelliğine sahip katkılar farklı oranlarda numunelere katılmış olup, beşer seriden oluşan bu numuneler kırılarak basınç dayanımları arasındaki ilişki ortaya çıkartılmıştır. Dördüncü grup deneyde ise farklı bir firmaya ait katkı kullanılarak oluşturulan beton numunesi ile katkısız beton numunesinin basınç dayanımları tespit edilerek, iki farklı numune arasındaki maliyet değişimi tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmalar sonucunda akışkanlaştıncı katkı maddeleri kullanarak betondaki su/çimento oranını azaltıp, aynı işlenebilirlikte daha yüksek dayanımlı beton elde etme olanağı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu katkılar sayesinde çimento miktanndaki azalma (az da olsa) ile ekonomik beton üretilebilmektedir. Katkı kullanmanın başka bir avantajı da; yüksek basınç dayanımlı, geçirimliliği az, daha düzgün yüzeyli, dış etkilere dayanıklı beton üretme imkanı sağlamasıdır.
Some studies are made to achive the quality of concrete which is the main part of structural components. For this aim, the effects of plasticizers on W/C ratio and concrete are examined in this master report. About this subject four groups of experiments are made in a special laboratory, by using different kinds of plasticizers. In the first group ( Group A ) five kinds of samples are taken with the same additives with different ratios. And the correlation bettween the compressive strengths of samples are found by breaking these samples. In the second (Group B ) and third group ( Group C) experiments, we had samples by adding the same firm's different plasticizers with different ratios. The correlation between the compressive strengths of samples are found. In the fourth and last group (Group D) experiment, the compressive strengths of concrete sample which is made by using different firm's additive and concrete sample without additive are found. And by this way, the difference of expenses between these two samples are found. The result of these experiments we pointed that the W/C ratio of concrete is decreasing, workability and strength of concrete are increasing by using plasticizers. We can produce more economic concrete, because the amount of cement is decreasing by using these admixures. And Also we can produce concrete with high compresive strength, low permeability, high durability and with regular surface. m
