ÖZET Anahtar Kelimeler- Deprem, Beton, Korozyon Ülkemizin bir deprem kuşağı içinde bulunduğu ve depremle yaşamayı öğrenmemiz gerektiği düşüncesi, Gölcük ve Düzce depremleri ile, halkımızın zihnine iyice yerleşmiştir. Beklenen bu depremin büyüklüğü değişik bilim adamlarınca farklı ifade edilse de, bunun yıkıcı bir deprem olacağı, İstanbul gibi yapım kalitesi bakımından durumu içi açıcı olmayan ve korozyon nedeniyle aşırı çubuk kesiti kaybına uğramış betonarme yapıların kentte ciddi sonuçlar doğuracağı büyük çoğunluk tarafından kabul edilmektedir. Bu durumda akılcı olacak yol, mevcut binaların en az masrafla en etkin biçimde güçlendirilmesidir. Bu çalışmalar yapılırken mühendisin multidisipliner bilgi birikimi yanında, deneyimi, sağ duyusu ve mühendislik sezisi önemlidir. Bu tez çalışmasının amacı, korozyon nedeniyle taşıma gücünü kaybetmiş betonarme elemanların güçlendirmesine yönelik araştırmalardır. Bu çalışmada korozyon uğramış betonarme yapıda, bozuk beton tabakasının uzaklaştırılması, donatının açığa çıkartılarak güçlendirilmesi, izolasyon malzemeleri ile güçlendirme yöntemlerine değinilmektedir. Korozyona uğramış yapıların güçlendirilmesinde yapılan araştırmalar birer öneri niteliğindedir ve her zaman başarılı sonuçlar elde edilmeyebilir. Güçlendirme masraflarının oldukça pahalı olduğuda unutulmamalıdır. xın
TO REINFORCE THE ELEMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN LOST THE ABILITY OF CARRIYING BECAUSE OF THE CORRASION SUMMARY Key Word- Earthquake, Concrete, Corrasion Because of the fact that our country is in the earthquake zone; the idea of living in such a geography have been taken an important factor in our citiziens mind after the Gölcük and Düzce earthquake. Although the size of these excepted earthquake have been stated differently by the different scientists; they have agreed on that these earthquakes would be destructive and would cause serious problems in reinforced structures that their rods were excessively corrosioned in Istanbul. In that regard, the best solution is to modify these structures effetively and costly. An engineer should have experience, common sense and engineering intuition besides the multidisciplinary information accumulation. The aim of this thesis is to make investigtions about the reinforced elements that have lost the ability of supporting. This study includes topics such as removing the spoiled part of the concrete, modifying the equipment, isolation materials and the types of the modifying processes in the corrosioned reinforced concrete. The investigations that were undertaken in modifying the structures that are corrosioned are both proposal. You can not always be successful. Also, never forget that the cost of the modifying processes are too much. xiv
