Bu çalışmada; dış cephe tasarımında malzeme seçiminin önemine değinilmiş,yapılarda plastik esaslı malzeme kullanımı hususunda bilgiler verilmiştir.Birinci bölümde; mimari tasarım sürecinde cephenin önemi ve cephe seçiminde demalzemenin rolü anlatılmıştır.kinci bölümde; yapı malzemesi ve özellikleri anlatılmıştır.Üçüncü bölümde; dış cephe kavramı, gelişimi anlatılmış ve dış cephekaplamalarından bahsedilmiştir.Dördüncü bölümde; plastik ve kompozit malzemelere değinilmiş, cephe kaplamamalzemesi olarak CTP ?cam takviyeli plastik? kullanılması anlatılmıştır. Ayrıca CTPcephe kaplaması ile plastik cephe kaplamaları örneklerle karşılaştırılmıştır.Son bölümde; elde edilen sonuçların değerlendirmeleri yapılmıştır.
In this thesis, the selection of construction materials for outside design areemphasized, its given information about using of the plastic-based compositematerials in constructions.In the first chapter, importance of side and value of materials for covering outside ismentioned during architectural design.The second chapter, the features of construction materials, are explained.The third chapter, concept of outside improvement and outside covering materialsare explained.The fourth chapter, plastic and composite materials are mentioned. Use CTP?fibreglass reinforced plastic? which is plastic-based composite materials wasincluded as side covering. Also, this chapter was contained the comparison betweenCTP and plastic side covering.In the last chapter, the obtained results were evaluated.x
