A STUDY OF THE DEFORMATION RELATIONSHIP OF NUCLEAR FORCES AND POTENTIALS ABOUT A«150 SUMMARY Keywords: Nuclear Deformation, Quadrupole moments, Sm, Nd, Ce, Gd A general view of deformed nuclei is introduced and a general description of nuclear forces, the effect of pairing force on the deformation are given. The deformation parameters and quadrupole moments are calculated for even-even Nd, Ce, Sm and Gd isotopes. The results are discussed and it has been seen that these results are in good agreement with the other works. XI
