Bu çalışmada; deprem etkisindeki konut ve işyeri türündeki 4, 5, 6 ve 8 katlı perdeli ve çerçeveli 20 tip yapı üzerinde perdelerin planda düzensiz yerleştirilmesi durumunda veya bina geometrisinin düzensiz olması durumunda meydana gelen burulma etkisi ve perde ve kolonlara gelen kesme kuvvetlerinin % olarak değişimi incelenmiştir. Birinci bölümde; Problemin tanımı yapılmış, ilgili çalışmalar hakkında kısa bilgiler verildikten sonra çalışmanın amacı ve kapsamı belirtilmiştir. ikinci bölümde; betonarme taşıyıcı sistemler ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiş, bir sistemin çerçeveli, perdeli, perdeli çerçeveli olması hallerinde yükleri taşıma biçimleri anlatılmış ve bu sistemlerden perdeli çerçeveli sistemin kullanım nedenleri açıklanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde; burulma düzensizliği gösteren yapıların depreme dayanıklı olarak tasarım kuralları incelenmiştir. Binaların deprem etkisi altında davranışları incelenip, burulma düzensizliği oluşturabilecek binalar plan geometrileri bakımından gruplandırılmıştır. Burulma düzensizliği gösteren binalar sınıflandırılarak, her biri için parametreler verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ele alman yapıların analizinde kullanılacak veriler elde edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Döşeme ağırlıkları, kiriş, perde ve kolonların ağırlıkları hesaplanarak yapıların kat ve bina ağırlıkları deprem yönetmeliği kurallarına uygun olarak bulunmuştur. Beşinci bölümde bina ağırlıkları tespit edilen bu yapılarda deprem etkisi altında oluşacak yatay yüklerin hesabında eylül 1997 deprem yönetmeliğine uyularak "ÎDE YAPI" bilgisayar programı kullanılmıştır. Altıncı bölümde yapılar, bu bilgisayar programı yardımıyla analiz edildikten sonra; katlara etkiyen toplam kesme kuvveti, kattaki perdelerin aldığı toplam kesme kuvveti, kattaki kolonların aldığı toplam kesme kuvveti ve burulma düzensizliği katsayı değerleri elde edilmiş ve bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda önerilerde bulunulmuştur. INVESTIGATION OF CAUSES TO TORSIONAL NON- UNIFORMITIES IN RFC STRUCTURES WITH SHEAR-WALL FRAME SYSTEMS SUMMARY Keywords: Torsional non-uniformities, seismic load, combined shear wall-frame structural systems, dynamic analysis, shear force In this study about 4-to-8-storey residential and commercial buildings with combined shear wall systems are investigated. The effects of structural geometry and non-uniform- shear wall-positioning on the torsional properties are studied. In the first chapter, a definition of the problem, the aim and extent of the study were given, a long with additional information about some research made about this subject. In the second part, an explanation of the reinforced concrete structural systems was given. Frame systems, shear-wall systems and combined shear wall-frame systems of reinforced concrete were defined; a long with their places of application; pros and cons. Third chapter is about the design criteria of obtaining earthquake-resistancy in shear wall-frame structures by showing non-uniform torsional behaviour. These structures were classified according to their responses to mainly lateral seismic forces. Structures with non-uniform torsional parameters were classified. Fourth section is about acquiring data for the analysis of the structures in this research. Masses of load-bearing structural elements such as columns, shear- walls, beams, girders and floor diaphragms were calculated to find storey and structure masses in accordance with the earthquake resistant design criteria given by the codes. In the fifth section the lateral loads that will emerge under seismic loads were calculated by using "İDE YAPI" commercial software package. All of the equations, that were used to find loads and seismic forces, were adapted from Turkish Codes. In the sixth section, total shaer forces at storey levels, total shaer forces at shear walls, shear forces at each colums are found after analysis carried by software package.
