Abstract

ÖZET Anahtar Kelimeler: ERP, MRP-II, AS400, DB2. Kurumsal Kaynak Planlama(ERP) sistemleri, tüm iş süreçlerin otomatik hale getiren kurumsal standartlarda bütünleştirilmiş bilgi sistemleridir. ERP felsefesi satış, satınalma, sevkiyat, personel ve finans modülleri gibi firmanın tüm verilerinin merkezi bir veri havuzunda, bütünleşik bir sistemde yer alması mantığında kurulmuştur. Bu projede, ERP sistemlerinin stratejik önemi ile ERP uygulamasında karşılaşılan problemler anlatılmıştır. Ayrıca bir yönetici için ERP projesini hayata geçirebilmek için bir klavuz niteliğindedir. Bir ERP projesi uygulama süreçleri anlatılmış ve bu süreçleri tıkayan noktaların aşılmasında önemli rol oynayan 4 tane projeye değinilmiştir. Geçmişten miras kalan eski sistemlerin ERP sistemine dönüştürme süreçlerinin nasıl olması gerektiği ile birlikte veri bütünlüğünün çok önemli olması sebebiyle bir ERP projesinin sistem altyapısına uygun bir yapıdan da bahsedilmiştir. ıx

ERP:ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING SUMMARY Key words: ERP, MRP-II, AS-400 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are integrated enterprise-wide standard information systems that automate all aspects of an organisations' business reprocesses. The ERP philosophy is that business systems incorporating sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, personnel and finance modules can be supported by a single integrated system with all of the company's data captured in a central database. In this project, the scale and strategic importance of ERP systems is identified and the problem of ERP implementation is defined. The paper offers a framework for managers which provides the basis for developing an ERP implementation strategy. The case analysis identifies different approaches to ERP implementation, highlights the critical role of legacy systems in influencing the implementation process, and identifies the importance of business process change and software configuration in addition to factors already cited in the literature such as top management support and communication.
