ÖZET Anahtar Kelimeler: Beton Kalitesi, Tahribatlı Testler, Tahribatsız Testler, Schmidt, Ultrases, Deprem Betonarme yapı sistemini teşkil eden iki ana yapı malzemesinden biri olan betonun yapıda yerindeki mukavemetinin çeşitli durumlarda bilinmesi gerekir. Bunun için geliştirilen yöntemlerden tahribatlı olanları maliyetli ve zaman alıcıdır. Bu yöntemlere alternatif olarak geliştirilen tahribatsız test metotları ise hızlı ve daha ekonomiktir. Ancak tahribatsız yöntemlerin bazı sınırlılıkları mevcuttur. Bu sınırlılıkları azaltmak amacıyla tahribatlı yöntemlerle korelasyon kurularak kalibre edilmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada deprem görmüş binaların beton kaliteleri tahribatlı ve tahribatsız yöntemlerle belirlenmiştir. Öncelikle tahribatsız yöntemler arasında en çok tercih edilen Schmidt ve Ultrases yönteminde kullanılan test cihazlarını mevcut malzeme ve şartlara göre kalibre etmek için deneysel çalışma yapılmıştır. Bunun için laboratuarda hazırlanan beton küp numuneler ile mevcut binalardan alınan karot örnekleri kullanılmıştır. Tahribatlı yöntemler ile kalibre edilen Schmidt çekici ve Ultrases cihazı ile bölgede bulunan 1999 Marmara depremini görmüş, ayakta kalmış binaların beton kaliteleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda; Schmidt, Ultrases ve Bileşik metot gibi tahribatsız test metotlarının çeşitli ön kalibrasyon çalışmaları yapılarak, yapıların beton kalitelerinin belirlenmesinde kullanılabileceği ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca beton kaliteleri incelenen, deprem görmüş fakat ayakta kalmış binaların beton sınıfları ile önceki yıllarda aynı bölgede yıkılan binaların betonları üzerine yapılan araştırma sonuçlan ile karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Karşılaştırmalar sonucunda ayakta kalan binalar lehine beton kalitesinde büyük fark ortaya çıkmıştır. XI
INVESTIGATION OF CONCRETE QUALITY USING DESTRUCTIVE-NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTS AND COMPARISION SUMMARY Keywords: Concrete Quality, Destructive Tests, Nondestructive Tests, Schmidt, Ultrasound, Earthquake The strength of concrete, which is one of the main construction materials, has to be known. Destructive Test (DT) methods are expensive and time consuming. Nondestructive Test (NDT) methods, which are faster and economical, are alternative to the DT methods. But the NDT test methods have some limitations. To reduce these limitations of the NDT test result it has to be correlated with DT result. In this study, the concrete quality of buildings, which were exposed to earthquake, was determined by DT and NDT methods. The NDT result were calibrate with the DT. Concrete cupe specimens were prepared in laboratory and core specimens were taken from present buildings to calibrate the NDT test machines. Than the concrete quality of buildings, which were exposed to 1999 Marmara earthquake, have been investigated by Schmidt and Ultrasound test machines. The outcomes demonstrated that the Schmidt, ultrasound and combined NDT methods can be use to determination the concrete quality of buildings by doing some pre-studies. Furthermore; the comparison of concrete strength of damaged and undamaged buildings has been done. The results demonstrated that the undamaged buildings concrete strength was much higher than the damaged buildings. XII
