Bir PTT şubesinde yalın üretim - 5S uygulaması

Abstract

Günümüz rekabet ortamında eğilim, müşteri talebine hızlı cevap vermek ve yüksek kaliteli, düşük fiyatlı ürünler sunmaktır. Dünya çapında firma olmak için israfı ortadan kaldırmak ve etkin bir iş akışı gerçekleştirmek tüm yöneticilerin hedefi olmalıdır. Bu, tam olarak yalın üretim felsefesinin ulaşmaya çalıştığı hedeftir. Bu çalışma, bir PTT merkezi hizmet sürecine uygulanan yalın üretimin 5S tekniğiyle sağlanan gelişmeleri ve bu gelişimleri gerçekleştirmek için yapılan çalışmaları anlatmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı yalın üretimin ve tekniklerinin tanımlarını vermek daha sonra bir PTT merkezinde yalın üretimin 5S tekniğinin uygulamasının başarılı olması için izlenmesi gereken 5S adımlarını göstermektir.Çalışmanın ilk üç bölümünde yalın üretim tarihi, yalın üretim kavramları ve tanımları, yalın düşünce ve yalın üretim teknikleri tanımlanmış ve açıklanmıştır. Dördüncü bölüm olan PTT'de Yalın Üretim 5S Uygulaması bölümünde önce uygulamanın yapıldığı PTT merkezi ve buradaki mevcut işleyişten bahsedilmiş, sonra daha önceki bölümlerde açıklanmış olan teorik bilgilerin uygulaması anlatılmıştır. Bir 5S uygulaması ile PTT merkezinde gerçekleşen işlem artışı gösterilmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümü, yalın uygulamasının elde edilen sonuçlarını göstermektedir. Uygulama öncesi alınan bilgiler ile uygulamadan sonra elde edilen verilerin karşılaştırılması ile 5S uygulaması sonucu, incelenen proseste üretilen iş miktarında %16,20 artış olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Aynı zamanda uygulama yapılmadan önceki ayda, 5S uygulanıyor olsaydı toplam iş süresinin %2,16 oranında azaltılabileceği ve uygulama sonrasında da 5S uygulaması sayesinde toplam iş süresinin %2,96 oranında azaltılmış olduğu gözlenmiştir.

The trend in today?s competitive environment is to provide high quality low priced diverse products and quick response to customer demands. In order to become a worldwide company, an effective simplification of workflow and elimination of waste must be the targets for all manufacturers. This is exactly what the lean philosophy tries to achieve. This study shows that obtained improvements through applied lean manufacturing techniques to a post ofice process and studies to perform the improvements. Aim of the study is to give definitions of lean production and it?s techniques, after that to show the path for lean production steps to achive lean production implementation on a PTT branch.In first three section of this study, lean manufacturing history, lean manufacturing concepts and definitions, lean thinking, lean manufacturing techniques were defined and explained. In the fourth section which includes the application study, primarily, PTT center that application is made and its? current process and then the application of the theoretical knowledges that are explaned in the previous sections were described. The increase of volume of transactions on PTT center owing to 5S implementation is shown. Last section of the study shows obtained results from lean implementation. With comparison of before application datas and after application datas, results of the implementation of 5S, 16,20% increase in the amount of throughput was provided. At the same time it was observed that the month before application, if 5S had been implemented, the labor time could reduce 2,16% and after the aplication, thanks to the impementation of 5S, the labor time reduced 2,96%
