Çevre risklerinin, çevre boyutlarının önceden belirlenerek önlemler alınması, çevreye verilecek olan zararların önlenmesini sağlamaktadır. ISO 14001 kuruluşların uymak zorunda olduğu yasal mevzuatları standart maddeleriyle birleştirerek daha sistematik ve düzenli bir uygulama sağlamaktadır.IS0 14001 uygulaması sürekli iyileştirmeye de dayandığı için kuruluşların gelişimine katkı sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışmada her iki standarda ait maddeler tek tek anlatılarak, bu yönetim sistemlerine sahip ve bu standartların güncelliklerini takip ederek uygulayan bir kireç fabrikasındaki süreç anlatılmıştır. Böylece kireç sektörü ve diğer ağır sanayi kuruluşlarına örnek teşkil etmesi amaçlanmıştır.

In this study, the substances belonging to both standards are explained one by one and the process in a lime factory which has these management systems and which is applied by following the updates of these standards is explained. Thus, it was aimed to set an example for lime industry and other heavy industrial enterprises.
