Sürdürelebilir bir toplutaşıma sistemi için Sakarya Büyükşehir Belediye otobüslerinin performans analizi

Abstract

Günümüz dünyasının gelecek için öngördüğü sorunların başında gelen ulaşım konusu doğaldır ki ülkemizde de en büyük problemlerden birisidir. Söz konusu ulaşım problemini çözebilmek adına bir çok somut adım ve vizyon proje geliştirilse de asıl çözüm toplulukların hareketlilik taleplerinin ortak paydada giderebilmesinde yatmaktadır. Bu nedenle toplu taşıma sistemleri kentlerin ulaşım sistemlerinde yaşadıkları problemin en önemli ve etkili çözüm yollarıdır. Özel araç sayısındaki artış, çarpık kentleşme, kırsaldan kentlere plansız göçler, geleceğe miras bırakılacak olan çevre ve kısıtlı arazi imkânları sorunsuz ulaşım arterleri ve konforlu ulaşım için gerekli planlamaların yapılmasında ve stratejilerin geliştirilmesinde karşılaşılan en büyük engellerdir. Bu engellerin aşılabilmesi adına toplumların ortak alan ve ortak paydada buluşup sorunları birlikte çözebilmeleri ulaşım mühendisliği temelinde yapılacak bu tür bilimsel çalışmaların uyandıracağı fikirler ile mümkündür. Bu çalışmada Sakarya ili ölçeğinde toplu taşıma adına mevcut sistemin verilerinin toplanması, analizi ve çıktıların perspektifinde öneriler yer almaktadır. Performans ölçümü için anket tekniğinden yararlanılmış ve çıkan sonuçlar üzerinden mevcut sistem analiz edilmiştir. Son olarak, sonuç ve öneriler kısmıyla Sakarya Büyükşehir Belediyesine ait otobüs işletmesine gerekli bilimsel destek verilmiştir.

Not surprisingly it is one of the biggest problems in our country. Although many effective steps and projects have been developed to solve this transportation problem, the main solution lies in the fact that the needs of the communities are meet on the common ground. For this reason, public transportation systems are the most important and effective tools to the problems that cities experience in terms of public mobility requirements. The increase in the number of private vehicles, unplanned urbanization and uncontrolled migrations from rural to urban areas, the limited land opportunities to be inherited to the future generations are the majör obstacles for societies to solve transportation problems is only possible to carry out the proper scientific studies on the basis of common needs of the societies. In this study, suggestions are made from the perspective of the data collected for existing system, analysis of these data and resulted outputs as far as public transportation is regarded within the scale of city of Sakarya Municipality. The questionnaire technique was employed for performance analysis of the current system based on the obtained results. Following, necessary strategic guiding suggestions have been developed. Finally necessary scientific support was provided to the related department of Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality within the directing findings of this study.
