dc.description.abstract Summary In my studies I was interested in knowing the functional theories related mostly in the socio-political branch of sociology. The reason for taking this branch of study was that I wanted to possess theoretical knowledge of how the ethnic struggles appear in the multi ethnic areas, in the Balkans and all eastern European countries. Eastern Europe was a Macro and Micro imperialistic theater: First three empires: the Ottoman empire, Austro Hungarian and Russian empire. They were in constant conflict with each other. The Russian aim was always to destroy first the Ottoman empire then she wanted to transfer her capital from Moscow to Istanbul. This imperialistic idea was not only among Russians, but other Slavs too, especially among Serbs and Bulgarians. They most the time named Istanbul with a new name: "Tzary Gorod" which means Tzar's City. I heard by my ears that always they call Istanbul Tzari Gorod. To witness this: a Russian writer Dostoyevski in his book "Beleznica" which means "notes" page 385, said: "No one would be a real Russian who do not feel an necessity to be annexed Istanbul by Russians". Published by "Izdavacko Publicisticko Delatnost" Belgrade- 1982. Second: the Slavic countries including Greece just because Greece belong to Orthodox religion, their micro imperialist ideas are supported always by Russian macro imperialism. The methodology see P.7 of this study will combine sociology, psychology, political science and history. Along with my personal knowledge being for long time in a contact with people of this countries. Certainly the events in Eastern Europe clearly reflect a pattern of socio-political relations deeply rooted in the past. My dissertation will demonstrate these views however; many political leaders ignore these historical and sociological factors. XIIAccording to my personal experience in the area of social history, I see society as a Pyramid of Sacrifice. I will try to shed light inside of this Pyramid to see why it was made for, how it was made, and what is hidden inside. XIII
