Nahiv ve Kıraat ilimleri birbirinden bağımsız olarak üzerinde çokça çalışılan konulardan olmuştur. Gerek Arap dünyasında ve gerekse ülkemizde bu alanlarda müstakil çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Ancak bu iki ilim arasındaki etkileşim ülkemizde başlı başına bir çalışmaya konu edilmemiştir. Bu çalışmada nahiv ve kıraat ilimleri arasındaki ilişki, bu ilişkinin boyutu ve düzeyi ele alınmıştır. Tez, giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde, çalışmanın nahiv-kıraat ilişkisi ekseninde oturacağından söz edilmiştir. Bu itibarla iki ilim dalı arasındaki ilişkinin; nahvin kıraatleri etkilemesi, kıraatlerin nahvi etkilemesi, nahiv ve kıraatlerin karşılıklı etkileşimi şeklinde ele alınması söz konusu olmuştur. İki ilim arasındaki etkileşimde kıraatlerin etken, nahvin edilgen konumda olduğu varsayıldığında nahiv ilminin bütün yönleriyle irdelenmesi gerekmiş ve bu sebeple tezin birinci bölümü tarihi ve usûlüyle nahiv ilmine ayrılmıştır. Nahiv ilminde kıraatlerin nerede durduğu söz konusu edilmiş, nahiv usûlü ile ilgili kısımlarda nahvin delillerine yer verilmiş ve bu deliller arasında kıraatlerin gücüne temas edilmiştir. Bunun yanında nahiv ilminde yönlendirme gücü olan diğer etkenler de ele alınmıştır. Nahvin kıraatleri etkilemesinden söz edildiği takdirde kıraatlerin mahiyeti tartışma konusu olmuş ve kıraatlerin edilgenliği tartışmaya açılmıştır. Bu çerçevede ikinci bölümde kıraatlerin edilgenliği ihtimalini akla getiren kimi olguların kıraatlerle irtibatına yer verilmiş, sözgelimi kıraatlerin lehçelerle ilişkisine, Arap dilinin vahyin nüzûl sürecindeki yazı şekliyle ilişkisine temas edilerek kıraatlerin insani olguların etkisine açık olup olmadığı tartışılmıştır. Birinci ve ikinci bölümlerde varılan sonuçlar, tezin üçüncü bölümünde ele alınacak olan karşılıklı etkileşime gerekçe teşkil etmiş ve iki ilim arasındaki ilişkinin karşılıklı etkileşim düzeyinde ele alınabileceği görülmüştür. Kıraatlerin nahve olan etkisi; Hz. Peygamber'e (s.a.) nazil olan ayetlerin farklı okuma biçimlerinin daha sonra ilim haline gelecek dil kurallarının vaz edilmesi sırasında gündeme gelmesi ve kimi zaman temel belirleyici olması şeklinde tezahür etmiştir. Bir başka ifadeyle rivayet bakımından sağlam sayılan kıraatlerin dilsel özellikleri, dil kurallarının vaz edilmesi sırasında verilecek hükmü belirlemiştir. Nahvin kıraatler üzerindeki etkisi ise insanların, kendilerine nakledilen Kur'ân lafızlarını alışkın oldukları dil kurallarına göre istedikleri şekle dönüştürmeleri ve kıraatleri, bir anlamda da vahyi kendi dil birikimlerinin kalıplarına sokmaları şeklinde olmamıştır. al-Nahw and qiraah are widely and independently studied topics both in our country and the Arab world. But, the correlation between these two subjects has not been specifically analised in our country. In this study, we discussed the relationship between nahw and qiraah sciences as well as the different aspects and dimensions of this relationship. This study consists of an introduction and the three chapters. In the introduction, it is mentioned that the thesis is grounded upon the relationship between syntax and qiraah. Hereby the relationship between these areas is taken into account from the perspectives of the influence of syntax on qiraahs and the influence of qiraah on syntax with the interaction of these two branches. Assuming that the qiraah is active and the syntax is passive in the interaction between the two, it is required to scrutinize the science of syntax in all aspects and therefore the first part of the thesis is reserved for the investigation of the history and the methods of that science. Besides, the importance of qiraah in the science of syntax, the proofs of syntax and the power of qiraah with regard to these proofs are disputed in the parts where the methods of syntax are dealt with. In addition to this, other factors that have a leading role in the science of syntax are argued. The debates about the influence of syntax on qiraah brought about the question of the true nature of the qiraahs and the approachs about the passivity of them. In this context, we examined some phenomena such as the relationship between the qiraah and the linguistic dialects that brings to mind the possibility of the passivity of the qiraah in second part of the thesis. In addition to this, we mentioned the correlations between Arabic language and the variants of Quranic readings. Apart form this, we touched upon the connection between Arabic language and the script types in the process of the Quranic revelation as well as discussing the effect of human element on the qiraah. The conclusions obtained following the first and the second chapters constitutes a ground for the interaction which will be studied in the third chapter and it is seen that the relationship between the two sciences can be studied from the perspective of this interaction. The effect of the Quranic reading variants on Arabic syntax had been heavily discussed when the linguistic rules were first introduced. Furthermore, the qiraahs had a dominance over the ruling process of the Arabic syntax. In other words the linguistic features of qiraahs which is accepted as credible from the perspective of authenticity of narration had a great impact on the determination period of linguistic rules. But, the influence of Arabic syntax on qiraahs is not in such a way that individuals reshaped or altered the variants of the qiraah narrated to them into the current linguistic patterns transforming those divine versions into their linguistic forms.
