Lise öğretmenlerinde iş etiği ve iş tatmini algısının karşılaştırmalı anlaizi : İstanbul İli Pendik İlçesi örneği

Abstract

Küreselleşmenin getirdiği değişim ve dönüşüm rüzgârları iş dünyasının her alanını etkilediği gibi eğitim sistemini de etkilemiştir. Kişileri ahlaki, sosyal, psikolojik ve ruhsal olarak topluma kazandırma amacı olan eğitim ve öğretim hizmetlerinde iş etiğinin benimsenmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu düşünceden hareketle bu araştırma ile, lise öğretmenlerinin iş etiği algısının yüksek olmasının iş tatminini artıracağı hipotezinin kanıtlaması ve buna bağlı olarak lise öğretmenlerinin iş etiği algısının iş tatmini açısından önemi vurgulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde etik, iş etiği, iş tatmini kavramları, bunların alt faktörleri ile kavramlara ait temel teorilere ve iş etiğinin tarihsel gelişimi, ilahi dinlerle ilişkisi, etkileri konuları ve bunların alt başlıklarına yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde ise eğitim-öğretim hizmetlerinde iş etiği ve iş tatmininin önemi, etkileyen değişkenleri, sonuçları, Dünya'da ve Türkiye'de eğitimde etik kodlar, iş etiği kuralları ve konuyla ilgili yasal düzenlemeler ile alt başlıklarına değinilmiştir. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise, İstanbul ili Pendik İlçesi Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı resmi ve özel liselerde görev yapan 403 öğretmene uygulanan likert ölçekli anket sonuçlarına yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak "Kişisel Bilgi Formu", araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş olan "İş Etiği Ölçeği" ve "Minessota İş Tatmini Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Yapılan regresyon ve korelasyon analizleri sonucu lise öğretmenlerinin iş etiği ve iş tatmini algısı arasında pozitif anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Lise öğretmenlerinin iş etiği ve iş tatmini algısı arasında tespit edilen bu bağ, iş tatminini artırıcı etki yapmaktadır. Ayrıca araştırma kapsamında iş etiği alt boyutları ile iş tatmini alt boyutları arasındaki ilişki durumları da ortaya konulmuştur. Yine araştırmada bazı demografık değişkenlere göre iş etiği ve iş tatmini düzeylerinin farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir.

The changes and transformations brought by globalization have affected all areas of the business world as well as the education system. It is important to adopt business ethics in education services which aim to bring people to society as moral, social, psychological and spiritual. Based on this idea the study was aimed to emphasize the importance of high school teachers 'perception of Business Ethics in terms of business satisfaction and to prove the hypothesis that high school teachers' perception of business ethics will increase their satisfaction. The study consists of three parts. In the first part of the study, ethics, business ethics, concepts of work satisfaction, their sub-factors and the basic theories of concepts, historical development of business ethics, relations within mono religious , their effects and their subheadings are included. In the second part of the study, the importance of studying-learning services satisfaction in education services, affective changes and results in job satisfation, ethical codes in education in the world and Turkey, business ethical rules and legal regulations and sub-headings on the subject were discussed. In the third and last chapter, the results of the Likert scale questionnaires which were applied to 403 teachers working in the public and private high schools of the Ministry of National Education of Pendik District of Istanbul province were included. In the study, "Personal Data Document", "Business Ethics Scale" developed by the researcher, and "Minessota job satisfaction scale" were used as a data collection tool. As a result of regression and correlation analysis, a positive significant relationship between work ethics and job satisfaction of high school teachers was found. The relationship between the business ethics and job satisfaction perception of high school teachers have an increasing effect on job satisfaction. Also, the relationship between the sub-dimensions of business ethics and job satisfaction were determined within the scope of the research. In the course of the study it was also found that the levels of business ethics and job satisfaction vary according to some demographic changes.
