Üniversite öğrencilerinin girişimcilik özelliklerini incelemeye yönelik bir araştrma : Sakarya Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi örneği

Abstract

Ekonomilerde üretimin rolü hiç şüphesiz çok önemlidir. Üretim faktörlerini bir araya getirerek risk alıp, yenilikleri takip edip, piyasada doğan fırsatları değerlendirerek rekabet edebilir mal ve hizmet üretebilme yeteneğine sahip olan ve aynı zamanda dördüncü üretim faktörü olarak da kabul edilen girişimciliğin, önemi her geçen gün daha da artmaktadır. Toplumda girişimcilik düzeyinin geliştirilmesi, toplumun sosyal ve ekonomik yapısına olumlu katkılar sağlamaktadır. Üniversite öğrencileri girişimcilik açısından büyük potansiyele sahiptir. Bu nedenle üniversite öğrencilerinin girişimcilik özelliklerinin araştırılması ve analiz edilmesi büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu tezde Sakarya Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi öğrencilerinin girişimcilik özelliklerini araştırmak ve bu özelliklerin nelerden etkilendiğini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma Sakarya Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesinde, 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim döneminde öğrenim gören öğrenciler arasında yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmada önce literatür araştırması yapılarak tez konusunu destekleyici bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Daha sonra üniversite öğrencileriyle yüz yüze anket uygulaması yapılarak elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile %5 anlamlılık düzeyinde analiz edilip bulgulara ulaşılmış ve bu bulgular yorumlanarak sonuçlar çıkarılmıştır. Yapılan analizlerden çıkan sonuçlara göre; girişimcilikle çalışmaya katılanların yaş, kardeş sıralaması, şu ana kadar herhangi bir işte çalışıp çalışmadıkları, kendilerine ait iş fikirlerinin olup olmadığı, kariyer hedeflerinin ne olduğu arasında istatistik olarak anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Yapılan testler sonucunda katılımcılardan 26 ve üzeri yaşta olanlar 25 ve altı yaşta olanlara göre, en küçük kardeş en büyük kardeşe göre, şu ana kadar herhangi bir işte çalışanlar herhangi bir işte çalışmayanlara göre, kendilerine ait bir iş fikri olanlar kendilerine ait bir iş fikri olmayanlara göre, kendi işini kurmak isteyenler başkalarının yanında ücretli olarak çalışmak isteyenlere göre istatistik olarak daha girişimci bulunmuşlardır. Girişimcilik ile çalışmaya katılanların, kardeş sayısı, anne ve babanın eğitim durumu, 1.derece yakınlarından kendi işini yapan olup olmadığı arasında istatistik olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır.

The role of production in economy is without doubt very important. The importance of the as fourth production factor considered entrepreneurship which posseses the capability of producing competitive goods and services by means of taking risks by gathering the production factors, by following the innovations, by evaluating the opportunities occuring in the market is increasing day by day. It contributs positively in development of the entrepreneurship level in society and the social and economic structure of society. Students possess a great potential concerning the entrepreneurship. Therefore it is of great impor- tance to research and analyse the entrepreneurship potential of university students. The goal of this thesis is to research the entrepreneurship potential of the students of the Universitiy of Sakarya, Faculty of Political Sciences, and to determin what is influencing this properties. The research was carried out at the University of Sakarya, Faculty of Poli- tical Sciences among students studying in the academic year 2015-2016. In this research primarily a literature research was carried out and information supporting the subject of the thesis were given. Afterwards a survey was made with the students and the obtained data was analysed with a level of significance of 5% by means of the SPSS program findings were obtained and these findings were interpreted and conclusions were derived. According to the results of the analysis; In this study about entrepreneurship sta-tistically great differences were detected between the participants' age, brothers ranking, until now they have worked in a job or not, wether they have their own business idea sor not, what their aim of carreer is. In result of the performed tests the participants of 26 and older compared with the 25 and younger, the little brother compared with the elder brother, those who have until now worked in a job compared with those who have until now not worked in a job, those who have their own business ideas compared with those who have no own business ideas, those who want to establish their own business compared whith those who wants paid work were considered statistically the more entrepreneurial. Related with the participants of this study about entrepreneurship there was statistically no relevant difference found concerning the age, the number of siblings, the education status of parents, the 1. degree relatives of wether self employed or not.
